Comfortable, nice washroom and perfect for a quick stay. Very clean and friendly staff :)! Will come back. Location is phenomenal, very close to the water and right downtown. The bed is comfortable and I loved the fridge and coffee.

For a great deal it was fantastic

This was a horrible hotel experience. Having stayed at many other hotels in Vancouver, Auberge is among the worst we've encountered. 

Cons:
- rude front staff lady who checked us in 
- super loud room. our room was right in front of the elevator and every time someone arrived on the floor, we heard a loud ding and could hear very clearly all the voices in the hallway
- woken up several times in the night by the fridge that makes a super loud sound every 2 to 3 hours. note that we had nothing in the fridge so it just made it on its own. 
- not worth the money

Pros:
- thankfully the man who was working the night shift was a lot nicer than the lady who checked us in. 
- good location

A very bad stay

I had a really wonderful stay here. Thanks to Ali for the free upgrades. Was very friendly and professional replying our emails. Definitely made the trip more enjoyable. Location was amazing and the rooms were neat and beautiful furnished. The views from the suite made me want to spend more time in it than outside. Hotel was close to a lot of awesome places and you don’t even need a car to get around easily. 

I will definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an amazing hotel downtown Vancouver that won’t break the bank. 

Only thing to point out is there’s a 100$ per day security deposit charge no one informs you about. This is refunded after you check out. So keep this in mind. Aside that, I’ll rate this place 10/10.

Awesome Hotel

We stayed at this hotel for a few days and we really enjoyed it , everything is clean and great staff and especially Valeria was very nice to us!  Thanks to her we saw many interesting places in Vancouver!  We recommend this hotel

Wonderful hotel with Great staff

We were very comfortable during our 6 night stay in this lovely hotel. What a sweet surprise. One side of our loft was full glass floor to ceiling. You can see the water full view and the city on the other side of the room. Furnishing is high quality & new. The masterbed is very comfortable. The Pull out leather couch that turns into a bed  is not bad for a second bed that the kids used. The dining table and the mini bar ( fridge, microwave, sink ) we used a lot. We loved our stay here. The Soap Shampoo and bpdy wash was A+ qualit. Our stay here was comparable to our stay in a Marriott in Hawaii, it's that lovely! It is walking distance to Canada Place, Gas Town, a ton of eateries. 
-Lots of room for the kids to run around. There is a lovely writing desk at the very corner of the room that is glass fr floor to ceiling. Nice place to sit and have coffee. My 7 yr old used this corner as a drawing corner. 
-The hotel is quiet, elevator is fast. We felt like we lived there. 
-The hotel had business on the first few floors, but you can't see this from the main lobby. This did not bother us. What counts most is the room we actually got, and it was perfect. 

A few things that's on the down side:
-Parking is a hefty $50 a night. Parkade was safe and clean, easy to park. There's always a spot. BUT hard on your first day to figure out which side of the building it is located. But on your second day I am sure after you have figured out your way around it's not a problem. 
-No room service. We went to a Whole Foods for breakfast stuff we kept in the room for the kids snacks as well. We ate lunch and dinner out, a lot of restaurants nearby. 
- Some of the staff (although they were very nice) had trouble with explaining things in english, she had to draw us a map to the parkade and even with the map, it was a little challenging. 
-We ended up paying street parking at the front door just o unload. We felt so rushed to unload as they do not have a designated sort of an entrance parking to check in like most hotels.

Stay Here! Harbour View Room 1003 is AMAZING. Great for families with younger kids.

My husband and I just finished a wonderful stay at the Auberge Hotel. First off, the location couldn’t be better: a block or two from the water, restaurants, shops, you name it. Everything is at your doorstep. 

The hotel manager was SO friendly and welcoming. Due to COVID-19 they’ve removed “high touch items” like magazines and pens from the rooms, but he asked if we’d like any of these items (we declined). The room itself was large, luxurious and spotless. The usual little details were all there (robes, a coffeemaker with coffees and teas, a hair dryer), plus some nice touches that we appreciated (i.e. an umbrella we could borrow). The rooms are recently renovated, and it shows: modern shower fixtures, swanky lights in the bathroom, and pops of colour in a muted palette with well-thought-out textures and fabrics throughout. Very classy. 

There were Mink chocolates by the bed, and we later realized they were from the café in the same building to the west of the hotel entrance. I was tempted to stop there for breakfast the next day because I liked the chocolate so much, but we ran out of time. Next time. 

I was also pleased to see that Auberge has done away with the little individual bottles of shampoo and body wash, opting for dispensers in the shower instead - a nice environmentally friendly touch. Even better, they were filled with Skoah bath products which smelled divine. The shower felt luxurious, the sheets felt high end yet not overly hard and crisp, and the room was quite quiet at night, with a beautiful view of the harbour. 

I was sad to have to check out at the end of our stay! I look forward to staying there again. A great hotel in a fantastic location.

Can’t say enough good things about this hotel!

The hotel in Vancouver is definitely NOT recommended. In the building, floors 2-7 are business and the floors above is a hotel. The poor service started with getting into the hotel. With no porter at the door, you had to push you way through 2 set of large glass doors. With 2 suitcases, this was no fun, especially as I was walking with a cane and and my wife has COPD. Others who came trough the doors had the same problem. Other guests running to help people as the had trouble with the doors. There was a small door on the side that had an auto opening but it was useless.

When I checked in, they advised me they discontinued the continental breakfast and they mentioned it wasn't very good anyway.They checked the breakfast list and we weren't on the list. I asked them if we can eat in the hotel and they mentioned the restaurant was only for "club" members. We had to leave the hotel to eat breakfast. My wife with COPD wasn't impressed as she had trouble walking half a block. This was one reason I picked the hotel because we didn't have to leave to have breakfast  All the tours we were on, we were picked up at the hotel door.
The second night there was a fire alarm at 1:30AM. We had to walk down from the 10th floor. The next day the rumor was that it was a false alarm from the restaurant. The issue I have is that there was not even a comment from the hotel about the false alarm. Like nothing happened.Other hotels we would at least get a letter of apology and explanation from the hotel management 

When we left the hotel, they mentioned they would help us get to the ship, especially with my back problem and my wife's COPD. Their only help was to call a cab. People on the street had to help us with the luggage.

The hotel is rated very high but if you look at the questions, they only ask about the rooms, noting more. If they did, they would be rated a 1 or 2. I will post this on other travel sites as this hotel is very over rated and not recommended. They were busy because of their location, nothing more.

Not recommended

I love this hotel so much! The view from my room was absolutely stunning!! So stunning that I spent extra time in my room instead of staying out longer!! The room was clean and bright and just wonderful. The front desk staff was cheerful and helpful. I can't say enough good things about this hotel!

LOVE THIS HOTEL!!!

We had a magnificent (and quiet) room with a separate bedroom. The living room sofa opened up into a queen sleeper that was more comfortable than any bed I've slept in!  I was shocked.  The views were great and we could see the cruise ship we were going to be boarding the next day.  We were central to everything (walking) and later went to dinner at a small place that resembled Sam Malone's Bar on Cheers.  I'll review that later.  People were so friendly and helpful. The hotel even had umbrellas for us to use.  Everything we needed was in that hotel! The price was less than I pay for a standard hotel room at the So. California beach!!

Fantastic hotel!

Wonderful experience. The staff was helpful in everyway. Transported our luggage to port. Expdited our movement thru customs,  My room was not that large. It was very clean and comforable. Had a corner room and the view was beautiful. Would always consider Auberge properties
