The Joker Boat

This boat is advertised as luxurious and it certainly is not!! The toilet did not work and was very smelly. We were unable to use any bathroom facilities due to the workman being onboard until after 7pm. Had to use the nearby pub! The doors did not fit properly and would not close fully. The kitchen cupboards smelled of cannabis. The washer and drier had someone else’s belongings in. 
We had to keep the curtains closed all the time due to people walking past and looking in.
The owner was contacted about the problems but was not helpful!
Please think twice before booking! We had a family birthday treat spoilt!


Very Overpriced!!

Everything about this was amazing. Comfy beds, bathroom fab would highly recommend 👌 Easy access picked the key up at yacht club all ran smoothly. Honestly if you want something quirky then this is your place 

Girls get together for nieces birthdays

Stayed here as family for one night. There were fresh stains and dirt throughout the property. Bedding was not fresh with stains on duvet covers and sheets. It appeared that beds were simply made up without changing following the previous visitors. We slept with our clothes on. Brown splash stains on bathroom wall next to toilet is not acceptable. We simply avoided the bathroom and shower area. Either housekeeping is a major problem or this accommodation is poorly maintained.
Location however is good within 30min walk to Liverpool One shopping area. Staff and warm fire next door in Yacht Club was very welcoming - breakfast good also

Housekeeping is an issue

Forced me to cancel my room at £500ish for 1 night. Telling me I was playing a game reserving a room for free cancellation during Eurovision dates. 

Send me several messages demanding I cancel!

Eventually, it was cancelled ( I sought better accommodation for a better price) 

Now their price is £2450.00 FOR ONE NIGHT!!!! - Look who is playing a game and robbing people blind!!

Unethical people! - passed all info on to media outlets

Increase price for Eurovision

Had the best 3 days staying on the Joker boat. Fabulous accommodation and setting. My partner and I and my parents have loved it. Ate at the yacht club, food and staff are amazing. Definitely be back.
The boat itself is fabulous, so clean and has everything you could need when away. Beds so comfortable.

The Joker Boat is amazing 

Booked for my sons 30th birthday. Not in Albert dock as I had thought but on reflection the yacht club is perfect. Staff were so lovely.it’s very secure as the dock can only be accessed via keycard.  
The boat is a really cool alternative to a hotel. Netflix, dvd’s and everything you could need. 15 min walk or so to Albert dock. I would definitely use it again.

And now for something different!

We stayed on the joker boat as a large group and loved it! Boat has been recently renovated to a high standard. Great amenities. Great location. Host very friendly and helpful. Defo a recommend a stay here!

Lovely stay

We stayed on the Joker boat for one night while we were visiting Liverpool...(a lovely treat from our son). There were four adults and 2 children staying and there was plenty room for us all. The boat was spotlessly clean inside and had everything you would need, toaster, microwave, kettle etc.. even down to tea/sugar and milk which was a very thoughtful addition!.
The boat was a lot bigger than I expected and beautifully furnished, although it is no longer in Albert dock, it is easily within walking distance to it and the main tourist attractions. The joker painting on the boat is amazing.
My grand daughter had a great time looking out for fish/jellyfish and saw plenty of them!
All in all, it was a fab experience and I would definitely stay there again.

Great experience 

Firstly the boat is no longer in Albert dock so do not Satnav to the address shown. It is berthed about a mile away at the yacht club. 

My family, 4 adults, 1 child and 1 baby stayed for 1 night and were impressed by the overall condition of the boat. There is a double bedroom, a smaller room with two single / cabin beds and two fold down sofas in the living room. You could sleep 8 but more comfortably 6. Each bedroom has its own TV as does the living room. 

There is a separate toilet and shower room. The kitchen area has also the facilities you need, kettle, toaster, microwave, cooker, fridge dishwasher etc.

Was very impressed and would certainly stay again.

Please note that there is adequate parking in the harbour area but it costs £10 for 24 hours which you pay on a mobile app.

We stayed on the joker boat on the weekend of the 14th dec when we eventually found it it was not in albert docks were it said it was it was another half mile down the road at the yaht club the boat itself was very basic it could do with bit of an upgrade especially for the money you pay the jetties that the boat was tied to were very basic as well the man told us they were only temporary but i think this should be made priority i would not stay on this boat again unfortunately even though there was supposed to be 6 of us it would of been tight fit just big enough for 4 people
