The welcome you get at Villa Claudia is second to none - they had a Tripadvisor award for being the friendliest B&B, and it's not hard to see why! 

We were a bit early to check in but Maria was wonderfully helpful, showing us to our very large, beautifully decorated room. The room was impeccably clean, very comfortable bed and the bathroom is a good size with a great shower. There's plenty of tea and coffee available and a small fridge which allows you to have fresh milk - not the UHT stuff so favoured by the hotel chains! Breakfast was absolutely delicious - they very kindly prepared porridge for my other half as he was running Bath Half marathon and needed energy food. I had the continental and was rather spoilt with sheer volume of fruit salad available and a delicious warm croissant! 

The location is fantastic - it's a very short walk to town, and the parking is a real bonus. 

Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Welcoming and a great location

On our recent trip to Bath, our young adult daughter was traveling with us, and we preferred a room for 3 people.  Villa Claudia was one of the few that had just what we needed:  One King bed and one single bed. 
Room #4 was located on the top floor of the house and was the only room on that level.  The bathroom was just outside the door, but completely private as the stairs lead to a landing with the bath straight ahead, and the bedroom to the right.  I kind of preferred it this way as it offered more privacy to the person using the bathroom.  The bathroom looks like it was recently renovated. Very roomy. We were given plenty of plush, large towels, washcloths, hand towels, and toiletries.
The bedroom included a complimentary tea/coffee tray as well as a small refrigerator. There was a very small screen television mounted on the wall, but we never turned it on.
Wi-fi worked great. There was a large armoire for clothing and a couple of chairs as well as luggage racks, 
Parking is off street in an area behind the house. 
Breakfast included several selections of choice:  full English; scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, or a croissant.  There was fresh fruit in the morning, including several types of fresh berries, kiwi, etc. We were also offered our choice of coffee, tea or cappuccino, which, by the way, was fabulous! 
We could smell something wonderful baking at night, and when I asked Maria what it was, she told me that they make the croissants in the kitchen the night before. How's that for fresh? 
The Villa Claudia is just a very short walk to the Bathwick Boatsman Restaurant, and Maria had made reservations for us to dine there the day we arrived.  A great choice and so convenient!  
Finally, the walk into the city is relatively easy and scenic as well. 
The Villa Claudia is perfect:  close enough to the attractions to walk, and far enough to be away from the hubbub of the city.

Home made Croissants and Cappuccino!

My husband and I could not have been happier with our two night stay in Bath with Maria and Carlo at Villa Claudia. We arrived on a rainy Saturday afternoon and shown to our all set up and beautiful four poster bedroom, completed with absolutely everything you could want! (Tea, coffee, biscuits, water, fridge, and so on) We were tempted to stay put for the rest of the day but knew we should head out and enjoy Bath itself. That was easily accomplished after a very short walk (10 mins or so) into the main centre from the B&B. 
Our sleeps were comfortable and our breakfasts...masterpieces! Delicious and filling and also enjoyed with our chats with Maria and Carlo.
Villa Claudia won us over as soon as Maria opened the door to greet us. Maria and Carlo are true gems and were more than happy to help us with all we asked about. Thank you for making our (too short) visit to Bath one we will never forget!

Brilliant B&B in Bath

Having arrived from Australia late at night we were army welcomed and sown to our Room for a good night recovery sleep.
Breakfast was served the next morning in a wonderfully pleasant dining room the food prepared by the Man of the house and presented beautifully.
We had  3 night here and can only compliment the owners on there wonderfully presented home 
A great place to start our tour of Bath and then onwards around English Countryside 

 Bed and Breakfast in Bath

This is a lovely place to stay in Bath. The owners are a wonderful, friendly couple, kind and helpful. Our room, though not huge, was nicely decorated, clean, with a comfy bed. The breakfast was great, didn't need lunch. An easy walk into the centre of Bath makes this an ideal place to stay. We will definitely stay there again.

Fantastic weekend

We spent fantastic days in the B&B of Charles and Mary, always very kind and available to their guests. Their house is wonderful, you will find maximum hygiene and great hospitality. You have never found such a splendid bathroom in England! Breakfast is excellent, with high-quality products, from jams to yogurts, from fruit to cereals, not to mention the eggs that Carlo prepares in various ways! Besides, the B&B is in a strategic location, not far from the centre which is reached by crossing the Great Pulteney road and the bridge. You will be close to the Sydney Baths and the Holbourne Museum, which is well worth a visit. Come, go and find yourself beautiful! It is wonderful and you will have a wonderful holiday in Villa Claudia.

Cleanliness and courtesy!

One of the best B&Bs in England. Very, very loving landlord and a great breakfast. Unfortunately the WiFi is a little slow and the price is unfortunately a little high.

That's great!

Large room and with a good private bathroom (hot water, towels..), the owners are a lovely couple and willing to offer many facilities. option of choosing the breakfast, which is what I love most. in short, good treatment and good hotel.

Hotel with enchantment

We spent six nights at the villa Claudia. We were very satisfied with our stay. The house is impeccably maintained, the room is very clean, a good bunk. We had the family room. It is on the dining floor of the house. The bathroom is on the floor, so you have to get out of the room to go to the bathroom. This is not a problem, it is information that I had not read. My only remark is the size of the room, small to three. When it rains, in the afternoon, we went back to sit and read. The only possibility of being on the beds is because there is no space.

Good choice

Maria and Carlo are two wonderful people who manage this place impeccably. Kind, available and friendly. Everything is top-notch: hygiene, comfort and location. Perfect breakfast. Highly recommended!!
