My husband and I visited the Amalfi Coast for the 1st time.  Our experience staying for 5 nights at Villa Nettuno was more than we ever expected.  Antonio was waiting for us as our driver pulled up.  He was with his brother and they both gave us such a warm, inviting welcome.  Our accomodations were wonderful.....comfortable and the view from our balcony just spectacular !!  We met the beautiful family who reside in the Villa along with their friendly, well mannered cat and dog ......when we're fortunate enough to visit the Positino again we would most definitely hope to stay at the Villa Nettuno.

Wonderful wonderful !!!! On every level.

Positano is a very special place and this hotel made the experience even that much more special. The host, Antonio, and his family (and dog Shiva!) own this villa and live on the first floor while the guest rooms are all upstairs. 

It can be difficult to find affordable hotels in Positano, especially during peak season, but Villa Nettuno was able to provide great accommodations without breaking the bank. The rooms have no frills, but are very comfortable and have everything you may need. The views from the balcony were unreal and I truly do not think I will ever stay at another hotel with views this good! 

The location was perfect. It is located in the upper part of Positano, which was less touristy, but still a quick walk down to the pier and beach. It was within a 5 minute walk of amazing restaurants, Da Vincenzo (make a reservation!), Next2, and Saraceno D'Oro. It was also very close to Casa e Bottega, a cute brunch spot, and Hotel Poseidon, where we got drinks at Il Tridente. 

While many reviewers commented on the stairs to get to the hotel, this is not a feature unique to this hotel. There are stairs everywhere in Positano- the city is built into a cliff! If you come to Positano, you must be prepared to climb stairs. 

Antonio is one of the most attentive hosts that I have ever encountered. We started messaging on WhatsApp even before our trip and he sent recommendations for activities, restaurants, etc. When our boat trip was canceled, he started doing research and sending me links to alternative options. Antonio is always available in the lobby or very responsive through WhatsApp. He is better than concierges at some of the most high-end hotels! It is clear that Antonio is invested in you making the most of your trip to Positano and leaving with great memories. Villa Nettuno is a hidden gem in Positano and we were so happy with our choice to stay here.

Amazing views with a wonderful host

The room had a stunning view of positano! You definitely get what you pay ! The host Antonio and his brother showed us and guided us throughout all our trip and helped us a lot , also provided us information about restaurants and experiences! Would recommend it 100%!!

Positano , villa Nettuno

Absolutely amazing. The best host who is very invested in you having the best the time. The rooms have the best location and the best views I have ever seen. The views don’t come at the expense of a massive amount of stairs, which is awesome. We loved watching the boats and ships! 
The bed and linen is beautiful and the room is quiet! What a great find in Italy!

Absolute perfection.

Highly recommend staying at Villa Netuno on your next visit to Positano! What an amazing stay this was. First of all Antonio is an excellent host. He lives on site at the Villa which has been in his family for 50+ years. I contacted Antonio via what's app prior to arrival and he helped with directions and storing our luggage before we checked in. The Villa is in a perfect location, just 100m away from the stairs down to the beach and main town, and right next to our favorite restaurant Da Vincenzo. Antonio even arranged dinner reservations for us and helped bring our luggage up the 4 flights of stairs from the road to the Villa. The rooms have recently been renovated. Bathroom is top notch, A/C gets very cold which is super important for someone who runs hot like me, and the view was absolutely incredible from the balcony! To top it off, everyone we spoke to at restaurants knew Antonio and his family and made us feel just as welcomed. 10/10 experience! We'll definitely be back!

Amazing experience!

Our 6th visit to Villa Nettuno & it never disappoints. 
It’s like a home away from home, now with a resident puppy for the dog lovers. 
All rooms recently fully renovated with 2 person walk in showers. 
The view is spectacular & the balcony sets the scene for aperitivo at sunset. 
Antonio is a attentive host with lots of charm.
Can’t wait to go back.

Best view in Positano & best host

Can I just start out by saying wow!! I had booked this hotel about two weeks prior to my trip. I loved that the rooms were recently renovated. This hotel delivered clean modern rooms, killer views, central location (yet away from the crowds) and amazing hospitality. Even the entrance to this place is stunning and you walk into your own oasis. Lots of amazing restaurants and grocery stores around the corner. Antonio and his family were friends at the end of this trip and we were sad to say bye! Ciao Antonio - we will be back!

Amazing views and hospitality

Being a super picky person when it comes to hotel, it took me so long to find the perfect hote but I made a great choice. 

This guesthouse exceeded my expectations! First off the view is STUNNING.  I got to watch the sunset and sunrise from my balcony. For the price you pay, it‘s next door to main restaurants Cafe Positano and Da Vincenzo. Everything you need is a couple minutes walking distance without the stairs-souvenir shop, bakery, atm, restaurants etc. 

The walk down to the main beach isn’t bad. We took the longer scenic ramp with less stairs and it was doable. 

 Friendly informative host- Antonio was great! He gave us super useful Information about the town and provided great restaurant recs

The room was spacious. Way more spacious than your typical Italy hotel. The bathroom and room was spotless and immaculately clean. The king bed was comfy. The only con was the third extra bed- very uncomfortable and hard. 

There’s also  no breakfast provided but you can easily walk to the restaurants and grocery store next door for food. 

Pro tip* if you want to save a bit more money, go to their website and contact them to book directly!

Exceeded my expectations

Antonio was such an amazing host, contacting us prior to arriving. Helping us with the best way to arrive from Rome, to include train options to Salerno and then to take a Ferry! Definitely recommend the Porter Service at the Port for €15 per luggage. The view, the view was simply amazing!!!
The Bathroom and the showers were a great surprise as well!!!
Just know you will have about 80 steps to walk but, but well worth it!

Highly recommend for an amazing view of Positano and the Sea!

It was wonderful time in Positano staying in this hotel.
Antonio is a very nice host as his parents are.
They make a home atmosphere so you don’t fell any discomfort..
They try to do their best to help you with staying in Nettuno and with any questions  you are interested in.
Also Antonio is a good and nice speaker so he tries to give you even more interesting information with his own initiative.
Regarding the room : 
Rooms are totally new and huge, which is nice bonus. 
Cleaning service is 10/10 !
I’d like to notice that shower is just top ! 
We got the best view to the sea and both sides of Positano. 

Thank you for this amazing experience, we are very happy for option we made to stay in our favourite city .
