Villa Sara is an ideal location to set up base in Taormina. The host Domenico is a true Gentleman, and a excellent host. The rooms are  spacious & spotless clean. we stayed for 2 days after we left Palermo and this turned out to be the highlight of our stay in Sicily. I would highly recommend this B&B for a stay in Taormina

The best choice in Taormino. The B&B is fabulous. Large, clean rooms with sensational views from the balcony. 

The breakfasts were incredible - loads to eat and delicious. All local ingredients included baked goods from the local bakers. 

The owner’s very kind and helpful. Gave lots of tips for things to do, helped me park the car, and so on. Recommended a fantastic restaurant close by. 

There is a secure garage you can use for ten euros a day. Or there is street parking if you prefer. 

The walk into the town is straightforward. The return is uphill and takes about ten minutes. Worth it for the view. A taxi is only ten euro if you can’t face it. 

Perfect place to stay - wonderful hosts

I loved my stay at Villa Sara, there is nothing I can think of that I did not like! Taormina is a very charming place and Villa Sara made it just perfect for me. A little palace with the most amazing host who is extremly helpful, charming and loves to share his knowledge about the area! Villa Sara would be one of the reasons to return to Taormina for me!

Fantastic B&B

A truly wonderful stay at this family run B&B.  The host family was most welcoming and the breakfast was “out of this world!”   Taormina is my new love mostly because of Villa Sara!   I would love to return!  The views from the balcony are without equal!   We enjoyed all Taormina and Villa Sara had to offer.   Thanks Nico and Mrs. Elena!

Villa Sara, Taormina Italy

Large room and ample terrace with a beautiful view over the bay and up to Etna.
Traditional style decor in a large stately home over three levels, large breakfast choice served in main living area with sea views.
A 20 minute walk down to the centre via stairs and road and if the thought of the upward climb is too much, then the bus is only a 10 minute ride or taxi was a steep 15 euros.
Very clean, good value and great service from the super friendly owner who made it an enjoyable stay.

Beautiful view

I stayed this place for two nights. The family members running this place are very friendly and helpful.

The room condition was really good. Everything was clean. Even though it is located in the hillside, water pressure was really strong.

Breakfast had large portion and was delicious. I became full each time.

For the location, this place is higher than Centro, so it provides nice view. There are two bus lines. You may expect at least one bus per hour to Centro.

Very Nice Bed and Breakfast

a family run place nothing was too much trouble, also had so much helpful knowledge to give us. So clean and well maintained with all the original character kept. The the perfect view of Mnt Etna, we 100% recommend this lovely place.

We stayed here for only one night as we were driving around Sicily but it was a wonderful stay. Lady Elena and her son Domenico are great hosts and we found a good place to park the car very close (this was a must for us). We woke up in the morning with a splendid view of Mount Etna. Looks like we were in a different world! The city of Taormina definitely deserves more than one day, it's a beautiful atmosphere and if your knees can take going down (and maybe up) the many stairs you will enjoy it (if not, a taxi is just 10 euros, so you'll enjoy it anyway).
Highly recommend this family b&b . 


View of Mount Etna

We felt very welcomed by the friendly staff. There was a personal family atmosphere in the B&B. 

The room was a good size and everything was comfortable. We were asked what kind of breakfast we'd like and about what time we'd like to eat it, which really added a personal touch. The breakfast was great.

The view from the bedroom was stunning. It was a really nice, quiet place to relax after a day of walking around Taormina. 

Both members of staff were very helpful and welcoming, giving us advice about where to go.

The walk to the hotel from Taormina is uphill and quite steep as mentioned in other reviews, but worth it for the hospitality. A taxi from the town cost about 10 euro, if you don't want to walk. There is also a bus stop directly outside the hotel - I don't know how late the buses run. They are also like a rollercoaster ride, and quite exciting.

Best place on our whole trip!

What nice hosts. We have been greeted by the old lady Elena being very cordially. Our room was very nice decorated and had a great view from the terrace over the city and Etna. The son Domenico was also very nice and the breakfast rich. Car can be parked outside not too far away from accommodation. Can highly recommend.
