This is a pretty basic hotel with no bar and a rather gloomy lounge area.  It probably needs some refurbishment.  So, why 4 stars?  Quite simply superb service Erik and team looked after us and prepared some excellent meals.  The staff made our stay.

Stayed at the Rendlehof as part of a Crystal ski Package for a week from 25th march 2023
Location was fine mid-way between the Naaserien and Galzig main lifts, an easy walk.
The hotel is just a nice size, i.e. not to large so has a more homely feel to it.
The rooms are clean and decent size too.
The breakfast was excellent with a good early start time.
The evening meal was fixed but if you don’t like the meat option an alternative was provided which was great. 
There were no set tables so you tended to mix more amongst others which helped to create a very friendly sociable atmosphere.
The big asset to the hotel is the Manager Erik and his staff. I don’t think I’ve ever come across staff who more friendly, helpful and obliging. Every day they were all so happy. Top class, what a star.

Would recommend it for a ski holiday and I would return no problem 


Ski trip 2023

Absolutely brilliant staff!  The hotel is a bit ‘tired’ in places but the staff (Erik and his team) more than make up for it. They were unfailingly helpful and positive.  Food was really good and plentiful.  Good position and of course with St. Anton, great skiing!

Good position; fantastic staff

We stayed at the Rendlhof for a skiing trip recently; the welcome and general level of service provided by Erik and his team was really first class and an example to many others.   They were friendly and efficient and went out of their way to give us a great stay.   The food was great and different each night.   We were 5 hungry blokes each day, and had enough to eat each time (even if sometimes the mains could have been a little bigger).  The breakfast buffets were superb and exactly what was needed to set up for a day of activity.   Top marks!

Superb/welcoming service

Lovely stay in a great location in St Anton. Great clean hotel, very good mix of local and other meals, one of the best breakfasts I've ever had skiing; amazing selection with variety, again with local offerings as well as the usuals and incredible scrambled eggs.
Erik and the team there were always helpful, happy and made our stay fantastic! Can't recommend any more highly.

Absolutely brilliant hotel. Food exceptional, Erik and his staff could not do enough for us. We were a group of 9 and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is the best hotel we have ever started at. Rooms were spacious and clean. Everything was perfect. 

Absolutely brilliant 

Spent 7 nights at the Rendlhof St Anton in January, could not fault the hotel for the money paid, Erik and his staff looked after us very well, rooms clean and spacious, food was very good and if you didn't like anything from the set menu, Erik and his chef would make you something else. Breakfast buffet was also very good with a selection of cold meats, cheeses, fruit, yoghurt and hot items including some of the best scrambled eggs I have tasted. No bar in the hotel but Erik asked us on the first night what our preferences were and went out and bought drinks we liked, plus the price charged was very reasonable for St Anton. Poker night was a hit too ! Overall superb value for St Anton, wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, providing Erik was still the manager

Great Value for St Anton

Three friends and I stayed here at the start of January 2023.  Whist the accommodation is average, the food and the staff were EXCELLENT.  The only downside is that the hotel is not convenient for the lifts and the slopes because a steep embankment is in the way.  The hotel does not have a bar (but drinks can be served in the lounge) however the Alibi bar just across the road is a good alternative if that's what you are after.  I would definitely stay here again

Good Value - Excellent Staff

Ideal hotel for a ski break in St Anton. Rooms are comfortable, and larger than many ski hotels I've stayed in. Staff work super-hard to ensure you have a good stay.  You will not be hungry! Sauna good after a hard day's skiing. No bar, but they will happily serve you beer or wine in a seating area off reception. It took us 7 minutes to walk from hotel to Nassereinbahn gondola station in snow, wearing ski boots & carrying skis. I would happily stay here again.

Very friendly hotel

We were a party of 18 who stayed for Christmas week 2022. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were a good size. We arrived after 9pm on Christmas eve but were still served a hot dinner. Food in general was excellent. We were on a half-board basis with Crystal Ski. There was a good selection for breakfast including fresh fruit, porridge, cold meats, cheese, scrambled eggs etc. The evening meal was a set menu with no choice but we had no complaints.  The selection of wines was reasonably priced. Service was excellent and attentive.
The staff were excellent, very friendly and very helpful. On the last day one of our party was feeling quite unwell and the manager Eric gave us a room to allow her to lie down while we waited on the bus to Innsbruck at 4pm for no extra charge. Thank you Eric and all the staff at the Rendlhof for a great week.
