We came after closing - the full moon brought us to the mountain already closed, the landlord saw us and said - come in, we'll find something - top guy - top team - on the terrace was still fed and we'll certainly come back (not least, the spring rolls were a hit - never thought I'd say anything like that about this court) the rest was also top - a successful evening under the motto - accommodation search on the high wall with full moon, at super hostel' -

The house has been renovated, now there is both Austrian and Thai cuisine, both tasty, everything very good and freshly prepared.

Assessment negative

We used to go there a lot, and we ate very well. We wanted to enjoy the beautiful view and eat again. We got the card and were amazed that there was only sausage. Not even a simple slice you could offer. It's a shame, it's been two months of good weather and they're not so close to having a cook. Never again. Waldegger house nearby, nicer and better.

It's scary.

After a nice stroll (starting point animal shelter ~50 min with a 4-year-old girl) we entered wonderfully. The view is incredible and the food is sooooo good! We felt very comfortable and the little girl could play great. We will definitely come back!

Great view - good food!

After decades of visiting the 4th-generation high-ball house, we've been very disappointed with the food today. The slices from the retorte are pre-made, the eggcorn tastes like water, the buffet salad is absolutely tasteless and everything out of the can. The sparsely occupied terrace at Kaiserwetter should have given us some thought.

You must have seen...

It was an early winter day in November with a snow storm when we just turned up for a warming tea and received one of the greatest Austrian hütte experience ever!! The quality and the size of the dishes left us speachless, and with the staff being superkind, patient and helpful, they just made our day. When the storm finally stopped and we could see the view, we decided to return soon. 

Amazing food with uneven view

The Hohe Wand is one of our favorite places to go to when we are in Vienna. It's great for walks and fresh air and nice views. In summer time a lot of sky diving. This restaurant is situated on one of the hills and if you have a table on their front terrace you have a great view. There's a garden too with some deck chairs. The food: real Austrian and sooooooo much!
