Good points: man at front desk was very friendly when we got there, room was clean with no funny smells,comfortable bed, strong wireless connection, good tv cable choices, parking space for trailers
Bad points: shower worked 20%, not enough lights in the room,fridge but no microwave(?), toiletries supplies are cheap, thin walls between rooms, rooms don’t look like photos on site, 13” tv was a old tube style not a flat screen(??!! ..really?)on site restaurant is permanently closed and no vending machines, only a gas/convenience store is walking distance down the highway, noise at all hours from snowmobiles coming and going, curtains have no blackout panels and a join so the night lights comes in, no hooks in the bathroom to hang towels, they took a $200 deposit for incidentals(??!!) really ?? It’s not the Fairmont! 
Conclusion:be sure to read reviews before choosing a place ..pictures can be deceiving ...this place was not worth the $125 /night

Skidoo Motel

Clean rooms. Very rustic.  Very friendly owner who would do anything for you. Lots of parking.  There are security cameras  The only thing that would improve this place would be for the restaurant to open.

Great place to stay off the trail

We booked this hotel as a staging area for a long trip north, I was not aware that the restaurant was permanently closed to the public and I had called ahead and the woman who answered told me I could get breakfast so this was disappointing as we like to wake up, eat and ride. 
Upon arrival we were informed of recent snowmobile theft, and that we would lock or block off our trailer. This area is a bit up the hill and in a secluded area, we stated for 3 nights as rooms are large very comfortable and warm and clean. you can control the heat, there is a fridge and a tube tv! Haha. We took daily rides in this stunning area but did not feel safe leaving our truck and trailer while we were off for a few days. We were hoping for a environment to meet and talk with other snowmobiles but this pace is a stay in your room and eat out, not at all the vibe that you see in the photos with a bar and restaurant, the owner mentioned it is hard to keep staff up north, These owners seemed quite disorganized but were very friendly and accommodating (check in took an hour) I wish them the best as this town is booming for all winter sports a shame this hotel is not thriving.

Snowmobile trip

It is basic room.   NO Hotel Cameras around the hotel at all.    2 Sleds were stolen out of a locked trailer -last night from the hotel parking lot.   No help from the hotel staff at all.   Police said there have been a lot of sleds stolen from the parking lot.    Hotel should  have inform all guests upon  booking  and  check in!

DON'T STAY THERE IF YOU HAVE YOUR SLED!!!  SLEDS ARE BEING STOLEN!!!

The room is simple but spacious and clean. The shower is large, beautiful and impeccable. We had chosen a room without air conditioning but the owners brought us a large, very efficient ventilator that allowed us to sleep well. There was a refrigerator and they also brought us a microwave that was very useful for us as well as an umbrella table that we installed in front of the motel. Our meals were very pleasant thanks to this environment. The owners are very friendly and dedicated. The pool was not working but we were about ten minutes drive from the St. Donat municipal beach. Very nice stay, very quiet.

Simple, welcoming and accommodating

it's not the hilton but we got better then expected,got access to the room before 12 as soon as we arrive.
went there with family for a ride on snowmobile and the emplacement is perfect,you can park your ski doo right in front of your room,directly beside the snow trail.
internet work, having control of eating system is always good,cable tv,big beds.
it was a good bargain and will stay there again when in st-donat.


it was as i wish it would be

Room for 7 people, with 2 double beds and a double bed overlapping, practical for family or group, clean, nice home, right price, empty pool in September... when it was 35 degrees and it would have been nice to cool off.

simple and nice

Basic but very clean auberge with very comfortable beds. The stuff is very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and the diner and bar have cute retro vibe. Definitely enjoyed noninvasive  oldies tunes on a rainy morning breakfast. A bit far from the village if you want to walk, but close enough to ski mountains and mont tremblant national parc. Although the auberge was full we did not hear any noise so the sound isolation must be good. Overall enjoyable experience.

Great family business

We occupied the room with two double beds and single beds overlapped. This made a lot of beds for a rather small space. It was about 10 square meters to make this room pleasant for five people, and make it a real family suite. But overall, we were satisfied because we only needed one space to sleep, and we spent little time in the room...

A satisfying family room for a short stay

For sleeping or having lunch/dinner, this hotel ideally located in Saint Donat is essential. Very nice and polite accommodation. American motel-type but quality rooms. Note that the further away you go from the reception, the more the wifi malfunctions. Alas. If you are a snowmobile customer this hotel is for you.
