I have stayed in this hotel for numerous times and for sure the best place to stay in Tartu. It feels like home there, it is cozy and quiet and staff is very friendly and helpful. They have welcomed my two dogs and helped me when I had car trouble. Location is also very good: not far from the city center and nice area to walk. Really recommend it!

No equal access for people with disabilites and their Service Dog.
Made a booking for 2 adults & working Service Dog needed for medical reasons. Explained Service Dog is fully trained, has documentation, vest & ID.
Response was they don’t want any dogs due to bad experiences in the past and then ASKED ME TO CANCEL THE RESERVATION IF WE TRAVEL WITH A DOG.

Personer med hund som hjälpmedel (Servicehundar) är inte välkomna!!!
Bokade två nätter och meddelade de om min Servicehund. Förklarade att hon är utbildad, dokumenterad, har särskild väst och photo-id. Fick svaret att hunden är inte välkommen &  om jag vill fortfarande resa med hund, måste jag avboka reservationen.

Nice family owned hotel, sound isolation was good, bed was comfortable, we didn't try breakfest (extra 6 EUR pp). Shopping mall is ~10 minutes walk. Location is good if you have a car. You can park the car on the street. Overall - recommended place to stay close to Tartu. In summer with open window the road noise outside might be an issue for light sleepers. No bathroom accessories: shampoon, soap. We had pleasent stay and I can recommend it as good budget hotel.

We've stayed at this small family hotel a couple of times, it's a very cozy hotel, we've stayed with the kids, the hotel owners have animals, very kind people, they have a delicious breakfast in the morning, you have to book it in advance.

It was necessary to stop the budget for one night in Tartu, in transit trip we strongly lingered in the road due to the snow, the staff called and if we bother to wait until what time? Having arrived, found a comfortable suburban villa, at the reception one staff member who slept there. Settled in the room 2-bedroom apartment, very warm with a huge bathroom with a heated floor. We were out of the way, I wanted some tea, at the first request of boiling water we were immediately made ​​two cups of delicious tea, despite the fact that the time was approaching midnight. The villa of the guests we were alone, winter yet, but that did not stop in the morning to see a decent breakfast cooked exactly to our designated time. It was everything and yoghurt and scrambled eggs with sausage, fresh vegetables, sausage, cheese, jams, thoughts, milk, juice and many varieties of tea, coffee, all this abundance was surprised at the condition that it was just the two of us, but it did not reduce the amount of food. All very nice and neatly served, not every refined hotel with a soul cook.

Hotel Veeriku Villa

A typical residential house for 2 families.In the second half of the house lives a stranger's family.The rooms are small,everything that is done behind the wall is greatly audible.From the windows you can see the windows of neighboring private houses at a distance of 7-8 meters.Do not open the windows,neighbors are noisy.You can't talk out loud,they start knocking behind the wall.On the first floor of the house there are garages,and above them are rooms,in the basement there is a gas boiler.How did they allow the hotel to open?which advertises itself on the internet all over the world!On the opposite side of the street of the houses.There are high-voltage lines running 20 meters from the house.There is no parking lot.There is no parking.You can put cars on the other side of the street, 90% of the electricity does not correspond.

It's a bad place to stop in Tartus.

Very nice hotel for those who come to Tartu by car. It takes 5-7 minutes to drive to the center. There is a parking lot, very cozy rooms (we had a room with a small guest room, there was a sofa, table and tv). In the bedroom there is a two-bed bed with a comfortable mattress, everything is very convenient in the bathroom. There is a little tea in the room and a gel for shower in the bathroom, in the rest - remarkable choice!

It's a lovely weekend in late May.

We stayed there in November 2011. We had even 2 rooms with a flat TV (double room on the first floor). It was a really nice hotel, bed and breakfast style, good price. It takes 5 minutes to get downtown Tartu by car. 
Disadvantage: there could be a shower gel in the shower...
