Excellent stay with charming and attentive hosts. The hotel is a charming Maison de Maître with a lovely garden and outside seating area which looked great although it was a little chilly to use so early in the season. The hotel also has parking and garages to rent if you need extra security (which was not needed as the parking was just fine). We stayed in a modern bedroom in the main house which was well appointed with a great shower room that had everything we needed. It was tastefully decorated and more than comfortable for the night en route to the Charante. We were made to feel very welcome and an excellent meal accompanied by good wine which was very welcome. Really enjoyed our visit and will recommend - we’ll also be back for some more excellent food
