Visited with the family for 5 days in August. Excellent location if you like peace and quiet but only 5 minutes from lovely village's with boulangeries, supermarket, petrol etc. Accommodation absolutely superb. Full of character but all the modern necessities with a few extra ones thrown in also i.e. good size and immaculately maintained swimming pool / tennis court.  The owners Christian and Amy ( with their lovely dog Georgia) are delightful and live in the main house next door. They ensured one was on hand at all times in case we needed any help from restaurant reservations / recommendations of places to visit /things to do. Stunning in every regard we can not recommend this property enough should you be travelling in the area.       

Perfect stay

It's been almost one year since we left Phillipe and Martin at Le Vivier, and I miss Martin's wonderful breakfast with her homemade rhubarb jam and some of the best coffee I've ever had. Realize that as an American I'm used to LARGE cups of coffee; Phillipe serves you coffee by the pot! Truly heaven for a coffee lover.

The room is large even by Western standards, and has that authentic French country charm that so many travelers look for, but rarely find. 

They have horses, dogs and cats on the property for a true Country living experience. Staying here makes you feel like you've suddenly become an aristocrat. 

The location takes you away from the noise of the city, but keeps you with an easy 15 minutes from Centre Le Mans. We live in the country in the USA and this was a perfect transition. 

Phillipe is one of the most gracious hosts that I've ever encountered and went out of his way to accommodate us. Both he and his wife Martin were charming and added to our stay.

I would definitely stay here again.

 · Being hyper-critical, my only complaint is that the Wi-Fi could be stronger.

Great Place to Stay for MotoGP of Le Mans

It's a wonderful spacious room with a kitchen, a mix of modern and Chinese things. It feels good! A perfect reception and a five-star hotel breakfast! Fresh produce, homemade cakes (spicy bread and walnut pie), local produce.

It's a very beautiful step.

For several years we have been coming to spend a weekend at Monsieur et Mme Legallais for the 24h du Mans and we always come back with pleasure 1/ One, they are nice, welcoming and with little onions 2/ The place is beautiful, close to Le Mans (less than 20 minutes), a very nice house, peaceful, a green screen 3/ The rooms are spacious, comfortable, nicely decorated, good thick laundry, a good bedding, a good bathroom, some delicate attention such as a small refrigerator full of drinks, a kettle and what to make and coffee 4/ a nice warm and well-kept swimming pool, in a field, a nice treat when the sun rises in the morning so let's not forget to make a nice breakfast, a nice bed, a nice bathroom, but not a nice snack, and I don't want to forget to make a nice dishes, especially when I don't order a nice cake or a nice snack, but I don't want to make a nice snack, and I don't want to make a nice dinner, especially when I don't have to order a nice nice

A very beautiful and enjoyable stage

We had a great weekend in this characteristic guest room, a refined decoration with Chinese objects, a real treat for brocante lovers, a very good reception from the owners, an exceptional breakfast, homemade and diverse products, the tranquility of the place, we also appreciate the diversity of animals: dog, cat, goose, chicken, horses. Very relaxing.

It's a beautiful home.

Near Le Mans, in a nice, quiet countryside setting, the owners of the house welcome you to the Haras du Vivier in their pleasant home decorated with originality. If you like painting and antiques like us, you will be charmed, especially since Philippe and his wife (with a lot of kindness) do not pray to communicate their passion to you.

Welcome, comfort, charm and originality...

The place is lovely, the welcome is warm and friendly, the swimming pool, the beaches around it all excited everyone, delicious lunches surrounded by homemade produce, nothing negative.

A quiet, vibrant and charming weekend

We had a lovely evening. Rooms were clean and breakfast was good. Swimming pool was lovely after a long journey. Phillippe and his wife were very welcoming. To be recommended. The garden was beautiful and were welcomed by some very friendly dogs and my daughter loved stroking the cats. We would define toy stay again if we were coming on this route again especially as it is very close to the motorway. 
      

Excellent bed and breakfast

We had a very warm welcome by the owners of Le Vivier. A nice comfortable room. A delicious breakfast, much was homemade. A lovely pool, beautiful garden with vegetables, herbs, many flowers. Nice extra are the horses, chickens, dogs and cats that are on their property. We do plan to go back!

Charming stay

Le Vivier is an absolutely charming property located 10km from the main motorway. The house itself is old and interesting and has been beautifully restored by the Legallais family. They are wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was lovely with fresh eggs from the hens which forage in the gardens. The house also acts as an art studio with interesting pieces from several contemporary artists.
