This little hotel is in a great location. It’s quiet yet right in the middle of an interesting and lively part of Paris. The rooms are small but quirky as stylish. All the amenities we needed were available for out short stay. The mother-daughter combination run a friendly service based business. All our needs were quickly attended to. 

Quirky and stylish 

We stayed here for one night on our way home from Provence, since the reviewes here were excellent. The location is really good with lots of restaurants in the area.
The B&B is really easy to find with the information that you receive before arrival and Agnes, who installed us in our room, was really friendly.

Breakfast is delicious with fresh bread, croissants, cheeses and charquteries of good quality and also yoghurts. A good start of the day.

It’s a beautiful house, though next time we will ask for a room upstairs. We had the basement room, and it gets quite dark due to the small windows and possibly the other rooms are a little bit bigger.
There is also a little yard with tables and chairs, so there is possibilities to enjoy a good weather as well.

Nice place and good location

I adore this B&B. The place itself is historic and very well appointed. Our room was beautiful, the bathroom was teeny but designed in such a way that instead focusing on size, you focused on how cool it was.  The location is perfect. It's quiet and friendly, and it's extremely walkable to a wide variety of restaurants and bars. The hosts are lovely, easy to communicate with and very accommodating.  We had an early flight and were unable to stay for breakfast, but will most certainly return.

Excellent Experience

We enjoyed our stay at the Maison Lepic Montmarte.  It is more of a B&B instead of a hotel. We stayed in the Jacques Prévert room. The room was comfortable, though the bathroom was pretty tight. We loved how secluded it felt because it is back away from the main street. The garden was wonderful to sit and drink wine in. It was absolutely quiet at night. Breakfast was good as well. It's rare to find breakfast included in most places in Paris so we took advantage of it. One hitch we did have is that there is a code to access the front gate. We weren't aware of this and it was not sent to us until the morning of our arrival. Having been on a 9 hour flight from the States and not having an international plan on our phones, we didn't have any way to receive the text with the code. Luckily another hotel nearby was able to help us call the Maison Lepic for the code. Just something to ask for before you arrive if you will not have access to cell phone/text/email. Might I suggest to the Maison Lepic that they send the code a few days before they expect guests to arrive? The price is a bit higher than other places we've stayed in Paris but we thought it was worth it to stay in Vincent Van Gogh's former apartment. Though we did find out later that this is not the same building. I recommend this maison and would stay here again.

Oasis in the middle of Paris

 We were disappointed. Our host was very helpful but the room although nicely decorated was rather small. Breakfast could have been so much better if not prepared on a budget. The selection of meats and cheese were unexciting and very “supermarket “Coffee was tepid. 
The accommodation was overpriced for what was on offer.

Disappointing

These people are dishonest fraudsters. They advertise on Google as a 4 star hotel. In reality they are nothing more than a bed and breakfast in Montmartre. There is no access without a login code and if you make a mistake in the booking they refuse to change it or communicate with you like honest professionals. I booked through hotels.com and was taken to the app which defaulted to the day of booking and not the day I wanted to stay there. Despite both myself and hotels.com cancelling immediately they refused to change the booking or agree a refund. I even sent someone round on the day and they were unable to access the property due to a login code. This is when it became apparent that they are just a B&B masquerading as a hotel! Seeing the area they are in I wouldn't be surprised if more sordid activity takes place there at night. Book at your peril. They are fraudsters and you will have no comeback.

Bed and breakfast masquerading as a 4 star hotel

One of my favorite things about traveling is the research.  I will read hundreds of reviews before choosing a hotel.  I’m not ever looking for the most upscale, nor am I ever looking for the least expensive.  My goal is to have the best possible EXPERIENCE.  That’s what traveling is all about, right?

For my 8th trip to Paris, I wanted to stay at a hotel in the Montmartre area.  Luckily I came across Maison Lepic.  They had excellent reviews and the fact that Van Gogh lived there with his brother in the late 1800’s, sealed the deal for me.

This boutique hotel is owned by an Italian family.  Silvana is the host and she has spent a huge amount of time and care in the decorating and restoration of the building.   The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed.  The small bathroom is very cleverly designed (in fact, I’m going to steal a few of their ideas for one of my bathrooms). The breakfast was excellent and far beyond what the average Parisien hotel offers .  The table was set with beautiful linens and Silvana’s daughter makes amazing chocolates and special desserts.  We were fortunate enough to get to try several.  The price was very fair.  The location is excellent if you like the Montmartre area (which I adore).  I will stay there again, I can’t imagine a better value or nicer service in Paris.  Very, very happy I was able to stay at Maison Lepic.  Merci Silvana!

Look no further ...

We stayed here for a week while visiting Paris. The B&B is a lovely, comfortable and beautifully decorated 3 story building tucked back in a narrow, gated,shady, cobblestone street. The downstairs is a drawing room with a gathering area and several tables beautifully set every morning for a delicious, fresh French breakfast. It opens out into an inviting, walled patio, perfect for either a quiet morning cafe and also afternoon wine. The second and third stories have 2 rooms each, all uniquely and beautifully appointed for both comfort and style. The owner and her family - Silvana Vangelli de’Cresci, her husband Francesco and daughter Agnese are all the most helpful, sweet and caring of hosts. From the moment we arrived until we left they went out of their way to be sure our stay was as perfect as possible. We were treated like family.
The area (Montmartre) is a gem of Paris. There is so much to see and do - from eating, shopping to sightseeing. The crowds are much less oppressive than in the center of Paris, but the streets are still bustling with activity. It is also very accessible to the Metro so all of Paris is available if that is what you are interested in. 

Charming B&B, delightful hosts, great area 

If arriving by car, make sure you have the parking arrangements all sorted before getting there.  It is an excellent car park that you can use whilst staying there, but you do have to know how to find it.  Otherwise, this is a lovely apartment to stay in, right in the heart of the city. Three nights at Maison Lepic and we found it most inviting!  To echo previous comments, Agnese, was a wonderful host.  She attended to our arrival, making us feel immediately welcome, our breakfast, and gave detailed directions for our outings.  Additionally, her mother, Silvana, made wonderful dinner suggestions and reservations for us.
The B&B itself is charming, clean, and beautifully decorated.  It is located in a unique spot that makes walking to Montmartre sights, Moulin Rouge, and metro stations a breeze.
I would definitely stay here on a return trip and will recommend it to friends heading to Paris this fall.
