Hotel Pas De Calais 

My husband and I were here for just one night, on our last night in France before flying out the next morning, and my only regret of our entire trip is that we didn't spend more time here! The hotel is beautiful and staff was wonderful. We arrived early after taking the train from Normandy and knew our room likely wouldn't be ready, but they offered to hold our luggage until check-in time. The location is excellent, just off Boulevard Saint Germain, close to the Metro and all the shops and cafes you would want to visit. It's about one mile (1.7 km) to walk to Notre Dame, and a beautiful stroll. When we returned to the hotel in the afternoon, we found out the hotel upgraded our room for the night to a suite on the top floor - and the room was stunning. It was huge, with an enormous bed, separate seating area, vaulted ceiling and exposed wooden beams, and our luggage had already been brought up. We had to leave very early the next morning for our flight, so I prearranged transportation with the front desk and the car was waiting when we got downstairs. Very sad that we didn't get to experience more of this hotel, but I am hopeful that we will return someday!
