Hotel is close to Carcassonne and that is a selling point. They speak good English too if that is helpful and  they are very  friendly staff. They have just taken over the hotel and have a difficult job ahead building up the business. The breakfast was the best one we had in 2 weeks in France. Our room was clean and well equipped and actually provided good quality toiletries. However, the actual location on the edge of an estate was off-putting but don't let that deter you. The exterior and some of the interior is jaded and needs some TLC. The pool is in need of care and is currently closed. If you want a cheap and comfortable hotel just a few minutes drive from Carcassonne Cite and the motorway or airport -  give this place a try.

near Carcassonne - a good point.

We had a problem with our trains and ended up arriving in Carcassonne later than planned and rang up, although spoke little english helpful gave us all our codes and had our room unlocked for us as the reception was out of hours. Taxi was expensive as we only use the public transport really, so found it a bit of a problem with the distance. Room was clean but very small for two people sharing. Breakfast was limited in choice and slightly expensive but filled the gap! Staff were pleasant but a little bit expensive for it being out of the way, unless you drive its not too bad. But must admit best night sleep in awhile comfy bed. They also have a very cute little dog!

Helpful staff but a bit far

Someone once had a vision for this hotel but sadly it has vanished. The building has a theme – Mexican, Spanish, Algerian – I’m not sure which, but a it all looks a bit half-hearted now with the swimming pool area in particular, disused and uncared for. Finding the hotel isn’t easy – it’s on a down-at-heel industrial estate somewhere between Carcassonne and Trèbes – just follow the signs for the crematorium. You would need a car to access the attractions of Carcassonne however, but at least it is in a quiet setting. The room rates are reasonable and the breakfast was good value for money. There is a restaurant service as well, although check opening times if you’re planning to use it. However the menu was limited and it seemed expensive for a budget hotel. The room was okay although the bathroom needed some work. However the air-conditioning was very welcome in early August. The staff were helpful.

Escape to an indsutrial estate

Odd name, quirky location but close to Carcassonne Cite without the hassle of fighting traffic or crowds.  Clean accommodations.  Food available on site which was quite good and the house wine was excellent.  The desk staff speaks English and very friendly and helpful.  It's clear they are trying to make a good impression and they do.

Budget price, helpful staff

we looked at images on the internet of the rooms and they looked very nice, so we booked, when we arrived we found the images on the internet were of the highest standard rooms, and not the ones we were going to be sleeping in for the night, they were unclean, scruffy and the toilet was a disgrace.
we didnt eat in the hotel as we saw the kitchen was unclean when someone came into the bar area from the kitchen and we saw from tht through the door, there was washing up to be done and there wasnt a high amount of cleaniness within the hotel.
i wouldnt recommend this hotel if you stay economy as the rooms are disguting.
look around first before staying in this hell hole.
