We stayed there for two nights on October 19th, we had a nice and comfortable dinner. Small but cozy room with a large bathroom and TV on the room. Breakfast was plenty and good. There was free coffee to take with us afterwards. Dinner was good and plenty, staff and the boss were nice and very friendly.

On the way

After long day in Obersdorf and Memmingen this hotel was true gem!
Yes as someone mentioned it's a bit in the middle of nowhere, but taxi from Memmingen train station is 15 euros . It's also super close to the airport , entire 5-7 minutes drive .
Host speaks German only, but cook is English fluent.
Food is probably best I eat all day and price and quality of drinks (beer included) best in entire Memmingen .
Bed is super comfortable and huge. You got TV (if you have a time to watch it). WiFi works no problem. Upstairs from main restaurant so no noice whatsoever.
As we left before 5 am, host asked us to leave by the side doors (which is understandable), moreover we found a packed lunch for us by the door to take away! 
Now that's a service for as little as 60£ a day .
Would definitely stay there again and I highly recommend this place.

A good food, nice host and super close to the airport.

It's a nice hotel. It's small but it has everything to rest. The heating works perfectly and the hot water is also clean. It's clean. To put a negative point we had to put ourselves in the Nordic shelf and the sheets. The breakfast is complete and the staff very nice. We also dine in the bar. They have cheap beer for German prices and fresh food. It's true that it's a little expensive for the prices we handle in Spain but it's not right to compare.

The owner is very kind, he does everything to make it easy to understand, especially if you don't speak German. The room was very nice with a good mattress, the bathroom is well equipped. The breakfast is very nice. You can have meals and for cheap. There is free parking. We recommend it.

We met for a business dinner in a smaller round. The table was pre-booked and well packed. The service was quick and good. The menu with a good selection. The onion toast and the slicing are particularly recommended. The kitchen also takes into account special requests. The price-performance ratio fits. Glad to see you again. Reference on Sundays should be reserved!

Civic food with friendly service

Very friendly personal.
House is old, but lovely in old German style. They truly stuck in time (1997/2000). Rooms are clean and bathroom is large and modern. Wifi does not exist there yet ;-). Breakfast was fine(coffee, tee, juice, salami, jam, nutella...) . We stop here for one night and we would stay here again. Price is fine, place is clean, people are friendly. All i need for one night.

It reminds me on old, simpler times

We booker Schwarzer Adler as an online last minute for a late arrival stop-over.

Time stood still and reception is friendly.
Food is offered in the restaurant. 

Rooms are relatively decent and basic.
Bed is good and bathroom is functional.

Breakfast is - as you may expect in Southern Germany - good.

All in all a fair deal for a night.

It's a cozy, classic village business with excellent onion toast. It's always delicious, especially on Sundays for lunch. It's child-friendly, nice staff.

It's a very authentic place, a kind of Bed and Breakfast.The owner (a very German) was very kind and helped us with a problem we had on arrival.The room is clean, though.No excessively large and the breakfast very typical and complete.It is located less than 5 minutes from the airport.It is highly recommended if your flight leaves very early or arrives very late.

Very welcoming.

You eat well here. The salad is really delicious. All the slices are good too! The proper village economy is now also a nice outdoor area unfortunately, the toilets have a taste, should be either professionally cleaned or modernized. You can also stay here. It is very cheaply located near the A 96 and the Allgäu Airport. But without the respective noise!
