The hotel is close to the cathedral, the center can also be reached on foot, there is a parking lot. Our room was not very large, but fully equipped. The hotel is very stylishly furnished, breakfast is sufficient and tasty.

A relaxed night

Unfortunately, we only stayed one night in this hotel. We had a quiet and comfortable room in the courtyard. The service was really great. Very hospitable staff as well as very cozy in check-in and check-out. The breakfast was also really good. We are happy to come back.

Great service, great hotel

Check-in/check-out: quick, simple and very friendly. You will be taken to the room. Room size/state/equipment: comfort room. Very clean, well maintained, enough room for clothes, suitcases, etc., desk, 1 bottle of water hotel staff: Very friendly and helpful breakfast: morning choice, everything fresh, there was really nothing missing. WiFi: Unused parking spaces: Available. Both in the own yard and public parking spaces directly in front of the hotel.

Central specialist hotel with attention to detail

The hotel is located in a very beautifully restored workshop house in the old town. We had a quiet, spacious room on the ground floor with a private sauna attached to it, but we did not use it because we stayed overnight. In nice weather, an idyllic courtyard offers a place to sit and relax. The breakfast was varied and good, unfortunately, except for the buns, which were a little rubbery. (Maybe you should change the baker?) In the yard next to the house there is a free parking space that closes at night.

A lovingly furnished family hotel in a central location

It was a small hotel in a quiet but central location. Unfortunately, we had one of the less beautiful rooms, but it was probably also the last free room. Our room was on the floor by the yard. The yard itself is lovingly designed and you can sit comfortably outdoors even at night. If you're unlucky, however, it's still very loud outside, so you can only watch TV or sleep with your windows closed. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast is sufficient, not luxurious by choice, but everything is served. The buns are unfortunately not as good in taste, rather a little rubbery. All in all, it's a good breakfast, but if you have a happy breakfast in the winter, you still get a happy breakfast in the morning.

Suitable for one to two nights

Very friendly and attentive. When you see the pictures of the state before the renovation, you're amazed at what the owner achieved with the architect. Very charming, with a nice courtyard. Good breakfast.

Very lovingly renovated

The Hotel Am Grudenberg is located in the centre of Halberstadt - the sights can be reached on foot in a short time. Nevertheless, it is very quiet. Free parking is available at the accommodation. The rooms are spacious and very clean - they could be a little more modern for my taste. The breakfast is great. This makes a perfect start to the day.

Very good accommodation

A very good hotel in the old city of Halberstadt. Good price - performance relation. The hotel has their own parking place in the back of the hotel. The standard of the rooms is ok, the beds are good as well as bathrooms. The rooms towards the front and the road is a bit noisy. If possible try to get a room towards the back. 
The breakfast is really very good!

Very good hotel with personal service

It's a beautifully preserved workhouse with excellent service and a great breakfast. Here you can just feel comfortable. Everything is very comfortable & tastefully furnished, the staff is always friendly. The wellness room is highly recommended! A small specialty that is worth its price. We are very happy to come back!

More than recommended

During the Easter holidays, we spent 3 nights with the whole family in Halberstadt. Thanks to the very friendly staff, we were received very kindly and additional wishes were fulfilled. We had 2 family rooms, each with 2 separate rooms and a hallway, as well as a common entrance door. The rooms and bathrooms are generous, very well maintained with tasteful furnishings. There are well-functioning refrigerators (3 stars, of course). The hotel is located in a completely renovated beautiful workspace in the old town of Halberstadt. Famous for its dining room, it is 5 minutes walk away. Towards the immediate surroundings there are good amenities. The hotel also has several excellent dining rooms and reception facilities, which we can enjoy in the hotel.
