Very good food.Family-run country restaurant.The junior chef cooks.The snitch is super, or homemade hamburger.There was also a delicious monastery beer there from Rhön.

All things considered, it's a good thing.

The rooms are simple, but you have everything you need. The restaurant is cozy and there are good-natured portions. The owners are two nice young hosts and make a lot of effort to fulfill every wish. We're happy to come back!

Nice stay at the foot of the Rhön

The rooms are not as modern but still decently furnished. There is a restaurant where you can eat decently and well. At the turn of the year there was a change of ownership and a new cook. The location is very good for a stay in the Rhône or at the city of Fulda. You can quickly get to the Rhône or Fulda.

Not so modern but still very good

We had booked a room that had been confirmed the day before we arrived, and when we arrived (and waited a while for someone to take care of us) we were told that we had been booked to another inn about nine kilometers away because the Black Ross was overbooked. I wonder why you have to leave your contact information when booking, when you won't even call if the booking doesn't work.

Overbooked, but not even getting a notification

We had 2 double rooms booked in the spring because of our dog. We arrived on Saturday, nothing was known about the reservation. We got 2 rooms over an adventurous, life-threatening staircase on the 2nd floor. A hallway with half a dozen defective TVs, old furniture, bottle luggage and cardboard delivered? Broken towels, dirty shower drain with all the hair of our predecessors, remote control of the FS. Over the doorway an open room. Air conditioning? = cell size! The staircase with no handrail. The first staircase from the basement to the hotel upstairs without any grounds is completely closed.

It's getting worse.

We booked this hotel for a weekend night. It was a single fiasco! This started on arrival. In a very uncomfortable rooftop we were asked to pay the entire amount immediately and in cash. Were we surprised  but now we are clear: the next day I would have paid for this box a maximum of €30. Before us the employees (or the owner) had to fight and not see each other again  Then the next surprise was in the room. The last renovation had to be done from the late 80s and a lot of the whole house had to be done. We had to apologize for a very bad experience resulting from an extreme slump.

It's unbelievably bad!

Everything that goes on as an assessment here is not enough to suggest that the writer himself lives in a construction site. Let's start with the room...three lamps of which two are defective and the third is bright red in beautiful brothel red. Unfortunately I read the reviews on this page too late. Because it has already been pointed out that the only modern furniture in these rooms is the flat screen camera at the customer's door. So I could still live if we didn't have only six square meters of living space.

Very bad and too expensive

This was supposed to be a modern room, the only thing that was modern in it was the flat-screen TV on the wall... for the remote control we had to deposit a deposit and then start the broadcast run ourselves to finally get to 6 stupid programs (only 3 programs). Besides, I had never had so bad mattresses in any hotel.

Dear travelers, please never book this inn!

Good family-style boarding house, not far from Fulda city, unnecessary luxury but clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly home, generous table with a good share of local produce and traditional dishes
