We stayed here this weekend as went to see my brother in law for his 80th birthday I would say we could not have been treated better if I had stayed with family .the whole place was spotless its a very homely place and Rita the is the lady that runs it was so lovely nothing to much trouble lots of choice for breakfast had a lovely time thank you for making our stay so lovely 

Best time in a long time nothing to much trouble

I booked this accommodation for my son, who is a student, who travelled 120 miles to visit a friend in the area.  Rather than him travelling up that same evening to Belfast, I telephone Rita and booked Armcashel B&B for one night only for my son.  He brought his friend to the house to chill out for a couple of hours (there was a sitting room available for guests) and drove her home at 10pm to her parents home nearby.  My son spent the night at this accommodation on his own.  The next morning Rita charged my son an extra 20 euros because the friend visited him.  I telephoned her to ask why she charged an extra 20 euros as I agreed with her the cost for my son's stay for bed and breakfast was 50 euros.  I told her she was being greedy and spoilt any chance of him staying there again.

Welcoming cup of tea, biscuits & a chat !

No problem providing an early breakfast ....   and this is a rarity at many B + B's ... 
I usually have to go before breakfast happens .... but Rita was up early to do scrambled eggs .... not just for me ... but for other early leavers  / workers.

Rita was very accommodating she provided me with lots of Tea and biscuits on arrival and again in the evening. Breakfast was excellent plenty of choice. Great location and gorgeous views. Great prices and the rooms were spotless 

Lovely stay, very polite

Stayed here for three nights with my son and 7 year old granddaughter. The owner kindly made up a double room into a family room so we could all be together and it was cheaper than 2 rooms . The house is very comfortable and Rita the owner couldn’t do enough for us . The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and modern with toiletries all supplied. The breakfast was a full Irish with serials tea coffee toast as much as you could eat . The wi-fi was good and plenty of parking available on the premises. It was friendly and easy going you could come and go as you pleased . There’s tea and coffee available in the tv lounge and loads of books and magazines. It felt a bit like staying at your aunties. I’d definitely stay again if I visit that part of Ireland.

Rita was so lovely it felt like I was a friend rather than a paying guest. She couldn’t do enough to ensure everything was as I wanted. Nice location on edge of town. Quiet but easy to walk in to shops etc.

Friendly Irish welcome

We were attending an engagement party locally so we booked into this gem of a B&B.

From the moment we arrived to the time we left we were treated amazingly by the owner.

Room was fresh and clean. Breakfast was lovely and they catered for the fact that we are vegetarian. 

All in all a wonderful experience in this perfect B&B.

Wonderful experience 

I enquired about booking a room for my friend & her son as they are coming over for my son’s Christening in September. She replied promptly to advise that it would be €80 a night, when I replied thanking her, but advising my friend felt that it was too expensive based on other properties she had seen online, her attitude changed drastically. Her response was dripping with disdain & frankly slightly petty when she advised that all the rooms were booked before I replied anyway. Disgusting way to respond to a potential client & a sure fire way to insure that I will never stay at Armcashel B&B and I will endeavour to make sure no one that I know who comes over from London for any reason stays there! Petty & Pathetic.

Lovely BnB and super hostess. Rita made us feel at home from our arrival, could not do enough for us and was full of local knowledge and history.
Cannot recommend this BnB enough. We will definitely be booking again.

Great B&B.

Located at the entrance of the village, off the road, this comfortable B&B is quiet, with excellent double glazing.The error is comfortable and breakfast is perfect for a very reasonable price.The host is very attentive and friendly.
