I spent a month in the Primiero Valley, and I consistently returned to Albergo Sorive thanks to Rodolfo's excellent service and meals. He treats each guest like family and always greeted me by name when I entered. His homecooked meals were the best I had in Italy, and his rotating daily menu ensured I always had a new delectable dish to try. I recommend this restaurant and hotel to anyone traveling in the Primiero Valley; it is well worth a visit!

Quality Food and Experience

Albergo Sorive is one of the best hotels and restaurants in the Primiero Valley! The guests are treated like family, and the food was the best I had during my month-long visit to Italy. I very much hope to return there someday!

Best Service in the Primiero Valley

This family run hotel and restaurant is a little gem amidst the stunning scenery and rural villages of the Dolomites. Our daughter stayed five weeks as part of a large group and the staff did everything they could to ensure a pleasant stay. We were warmly welcomed each time we visited or stayed for a meal. Authentic home-style meals, with an Austrian influence, were a feature. You may even be treated to Irma’s grappa or limoncello. The premises were spotless and well cared for. Whether staying for a few nights or calling in for lunch on your way to the mountains, you won’t be disappointed.

Warm and welcoming

A good 2-star hotel, well managed, spacious and clean triple room, simple but well cooked dishes, friendly and available staff: nothing to envy in upper-class hotels. Very nice the village of Mezzano.

A two-star winner

After four years, I happily returned to this hotel with my family and my dog. Both experiences were more than positive, the owners and staff were courteous and available. Great cuisine with an eye for local products. Exquisite homemade sweets and crustaceans. They kindly accepted my requests for menu variations for my food intolerances. Very tolerant even with my dog who stayed for free. Great quality price ratio. Highly recommended.

Pleasant return

We stopped by without booking. There were two adults plus two girls. They set up the table with chairs in a spacious and accessible room. We ordered two first and three outlines plus the coffee; in addition to the drinks. The food was good and the friendly and attentive staff. In the end we paid - in my opinion - little: about 15 euros per person. If you're going to the First Fair, it's worth stopping.

Good and accessible

We started with a pre-dinner of mixed slices including hunting anchovies, suppressed and speck. All three are really top quality. It felt like they were not the usual commercial slices of the supermarket, it melted in the mouth leaving a unique flavor and taste. Together with the salumi they have another excellent figure of the cheese made from the sturgeon) and the chips of the chicken. All the products of the area are of excellent quality. We all know that the quality of the wine is less demanding. We also know the ratio of the poultry and salt in the area, and we can see the price of the meat in the area, but we can say that it has a very good price, but we can always say that it has a very good taste and a very good taste.

I'm reviewing the restaurant because, by the way, it's local quality products, we had lunch with sausage and polenta, trout and polenta and a pre-dinner with spic and suppressed, all great. Not many dishes but good quality.
