My husband and I had the opportunity to stay at the Hotel Cristallo last month, while there for a trade show at the Verona Fiere. The location of the hotel was great for our purposes, and we were able to access the trade show by the hotel’s free shuttle offered during it, or a very short city bus ride that took us right out front the show. That same bus was wonderful for getting us to the arena area to walk and explore as well. The bus fare was 2-2.8 euros pp one way. Although the hotel is older, it is kept immaculately clean, the bed is very comfortable, and the breakfast that is included is wonderful! The staff at the front, Federico, and Genni were extremely helpful, hardworking, and always friendly. Federico would arrive on duty at 7 am, and was still there bartending, and covering the front desk at midnight!! There are great little neighbourhood bars and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, with a major supermarket a little further, but walkable. We would highly recommend the Hotel Cristallo for a peaceful stay with great city access.
