Great little single room in a very good location for getting around into the heart of Verona. The entrance was a little hard to find but I was able to get in touch with the hotel owner using WhatsApp which was very convenient. Once inside, I felt the property was secure and safe, plus the room was very cute and clean. I had everything I needed for a one night stay.
The only thing is that the entrance is hard to spot. You need to look for number 15, and you will notice a small label underneath the apartment buzzer system. It has the numbers to contact the hotel to get inside. Once you have the codes to get in, it's fine.

We spent 3 wonderful nights at this place. The location is perfect. Close to the highlights and to the railway station. The room was spacious and clean. Good breakfast. 2 bathrooms. Highly recommended!

Very nice stay!

Please, for heavens sake don't go to this hell of a place. It's seriously the worst of the worst hotel out there! 
The building is ugly, the room is terrible, the view is hot sauce in the eyes and you can get a MUCH better place for only 15 EUR more. The breakfast seems also to be like puke. 

SO PLEASE, IF YOU LIKE YOURSELF, SPEND EXTRA 15 EUR AND GO TO BETTER PLACE! 
DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE!!!


WORST HOTEL EVER!!!!!

My partner and I booked in for the weekend (two nights) on our recent trip to Verona. The owners very kindly agreed in advance that we could check in early which was such a relief as we were knackered after 8 hours of travelling! It is roughly 15 mins from the central train station, to which you can get a bus easily to from the airport. 

The building was a bit hard to find but only because of the scaffolding up so we couldn't see the numbers. The b&b is a flat situated within a residential block of flats. You do have to call someone to let you in but they came down very quickly. The lady couldn't speak much english but we got by fine, paid on arrival, were given all the codes to access the building and were shown to our room. 

Room was clean (although we did find a used pair of socks in one of the drawers!) as was the en-suite bathroom. We did have to pay extra for the en-suite which we didn't mind too much as it wasn't loads and we just didn't fancy sharing a bathroom. It didn't have air conditioning from what we could see so we had the windows open the whole time, not sure how much I would have enjoyed it in the height of summer. 

The breakfast available is continental, a fair bit of variety available (three different coffee machines!) 

Location wise it is about a 5-7 minute walk to the Arena and from there you can walk to all the main attractions very easily. It is also near a very lovely local restaurant called the three risotto which we would highly recommend! 

The owner was very easy to get in contact with and allowed us to leave our luggage on our last day after check out. 

Very pleasant stay, would recommend.

Perfect for a short break

Only a 10/15 minute walk from the train station. The contact details for checking in are on the buzzer at the door. Thankfully, a lovely resident rang for us and asked for them to come and check us in. If you had no phone (or signal) and absolutely no Italian, I'm not too sure how you could check in. We waited for about 15 mins in the foyer of the apartment block for the lady to come let us check in. 
The B&B itself is nice. A communal kitchen that provides a lovely breakfast. Our bedroom was nice with an en-suite. Relatively small but ideal for what we wanted. On both nights we stayed, we had no electricity. The first night, it was gone all night which meant absolutely no air-con (which is another issue in itself). The other guests were trying to call someone to come and sort it out and no one came and it eventually came back at 6am. 
It went again the second night, a bit earlier so we were able to contact someone to switch it back on (although it took a while for them to come). 
The air-con situation is bad. We asked the lady to turn up the air-con and it turned out that the control switch was hidden behind a little wooden box with a fake pad lock in the reception area. As much as we tried to turn the cold air on, the heat in the room was so stifling we had to wet towels to throw over us. That same night I lifted up my backpack and a load of ants fell out of it and when I looked on the ground there were ants running all around the skirting board. 
The morning we were leaving the electricity went again!!!! No one who works in the B&B seems to stay while there are guests staying, so it takes ages for someone to come and sort out the electricity. They also leave no number to call in case of any issues with electricity, which clearly happen quite regularly  (apparently it happened the night before we arrived too). 

If they sort out the electricity and air-con  issues, it would be a brilliant place to stay. Close to all the amenities. 

Serious electricity issues

We visited Verona in May and stayed at 3Jolie b&b for one night.Location is very good:10-12 minutes away from Porta Nova Station and 10 minutes away from Arena.       We had a room with en suite bathroom and a balcony.The view from the balcony was not very nice,but we enjoy having our breakfast out.Breakfast was good with plenty of choices.We enjoyed our stay at B&b 3Jolie.
