We went to Verona while inter-railing and had problems with the first hotel we had booked. We phoned Diana and she was great, she gave us a room for the night and we finally stayed one more day. 

The staff was really pleasant and everything was perfectly ready when we arrived. It may seem like a hotel, but it is more of a B&B, Diana had texted us all the information to get in and where the keys would be for us to find. Both nights were great, however they don't prepare breakfast, you can always ask them where to go because they send you to great, cheap Italian places. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. If you can, ask them for a room with a balcony, not that the views are that great but it gives you some sort of Italian vibe that completes your stay! 

The wifi works perfectly.

In my opinion the only thing that could be improved was the bathroom, the WC was a bit loose and the shower very narrow, as if it had been made for someone very tall and thin.

It is very close to the train station and 10 minutes walking to the centre.

In conclusion a lovely place to stay when in Verona. 

Such a lovely place

We were able to book this hotel short notice after our first reservation canceled on us while we were traveling.  We are so glad they canceled as this was a much better place to stay. We were later arriving than we anticipated and there was someone at the desk waiting for us.  The desk is not manned 24 hours, but they make sure to provide you with everything you need before they leave.  They were very helpful and very informative about what to see and do in the city.  The room was very clean and we were upgraded to a suite so we had plenty of room.  The hotel is very close to the train station and in walking distance of old town.  We had an early flight the next morning and they arranged for transportation to the airport.  I highly recommend this hotel.

Great room

This is a very lovely place
 It was very clean and spacious, which is always good! Bed was comfy. Really close to all the main attractions, within walking distance. Friendly staff. Would highly recommend staying here. 

Nice place 

Good location 10 minutes easy walk to Station & the Arena. Clean, comfortable, spacious room with coffee machine and fridge. Friendly helpful staff who arranged airport transfer due to late arrival - well worth it! Try the Marechiaro for great food at reasonable prices - tucked away down side street - ask for directions at reception. Good wifi signal 24/7.

Ideal Base for Verona stay

This is a nice guest house, about 15 minutes walk from the central train station. It's down hill on the way there and a bit of a struggle on the return journey with wheeled luggage, but we were away for a while, therefore budgeting when it comes to taxis! From the guest house 15 minutes walk to the old town, the amphitheater and restaurants. The pictures are true to life with the rooms being compact but boutique. Remember it's a traditional Italian home with mod cons but high ceilings narrow rooms and traditional furnishings. Reception staff are friendly and informative. It's not staffed 24 hrs but they make sure that someone is there when you do arrive, so keep them informed. There is a lift but I don't think it's ideal for anyone who has a disability or is infirm. One additional bonus is that it's 5mins walk away from La Roma ice cream parlour and people travel for miles at strange times just for desert. I'll post a review there due course. We found it at 11pm because of the queue outside!
