Bedroom sheets smell fresh and room clean.  Same open food..cake and bread same looked like from past meals.  Mike was sour in fridge so no one checked. Stove broken knobs.  No one bothered to fix.  Blew out circuits when stove came on. Owner said this was a first.  Built up grime on doors and Jambs, on and in tub and mold on walls in bathroom. Dirty dishes in sink at 1900 were there at 0900 the next day.  No coffee due to stove not working.. Owner did store our bags and returned 5 euro.

Room clean and nice the rest not nor food acceptable

Terrible experience with the owner of this place. Very Rude and disrespectful. We were never granted access to our room as we did not let her know that we were arriving late as our flight was delayed. We got to this place and they never answered the door. The next morning the owner did not allow us to go in but instead insulted us. I don't recommend this place to anyone.

Where to start on such a terrible excuse for accommodation... to think we paid money for this!! 

Pros: 
• Our stay was brief so we could look forward to leaving!!
• To be fair they did let us leave our luggage there for the day whilst we explored Verona 

Cons: 
• The owner did not speak English well and his daughter who was the English speaker wasn’t around to help- thankfully the owner and I were both able to communicate in German
• Hard to find and situated in a dodgy location. It is not signposted and is hidden away in a dark side alley that does not feel safe or welcoming
• The front door to the property was left wide open and there were no lights on
• Grubby room
• Beds stained and extremely uncomfortable. Little to no stuffing in pillows
• Even the plug sockets were dirty and somehow dirtied our chargers!
• Bathroom had mould on walls
• ‘Breakfast’ had to be made by ourselves in a grubby kitchen- I certainly didn’t want to bother 

You couldn’t pay me to come back here!

An absolute sh!thole!

Well, just where to start on such a crapulous property. To say it was absolutely awful gives it a sense of credibility that does not exist. I must have been on another planet to have booked this place.

First, whoever did the pictures for the hotel sites needs a huge bonus. No, really, you did a fantastic jobs. You make the place look like the Taj Mahal, all good angles, little touches with towels etc. A makeover has never been so good.

Alloggio is pretty hidden, down a side street and then a dead-end. This summarises well the place itself.

In reality its obviously the owner’s flat that she thought she could make some money from. If I wanted an air b&b type place I would have booked one. I wanted a reasonable, traditional Italian place. Don’t let a name or photos fool you but it was too late for me. It’s four bedrooms, each kitted out in very basic furniture with a kitch city theme can’t cover up the fact it’s not really a ‘hotel’ or ‘accommodation’. The shared bathroom in an absolute shocker and not what I expected. Going back through the fine print of the booking terms it’s generally hidden. The ‘help-yourself’ kitchen is stocked with breakfast goods that are designed for long life rather than taste. The coffee machine was also broken.... Air conditioning does not exist. 

At check in I got bad vibes when the owner’s father showed up who did not really know what he was doing. I had to work the card machine for him to make sure the room cost was paid, though second thoughts were at least a week behind the cancellation costs alas.

Each night and morning was a lottery to get into the bathroom. Multiple trips to check whether it’s empty. I’ve had much cheaper better and worse accommodation in Italy that came with ensuite. I can’t imagine the embarrassment - that’s me being embarrassed for the owner thinking this is a place is both fit for use and charged for.

It generally went downhill from a terrible start and hit the nadir when an appliance started leaking water in the kitchen. DIY repairs late in the evening tripped the electrics so all power was lost for a while. Guess what, no torch and a while to fix after I showed them how to use the torch function on a smart phone. No apology, no care either.

Don’t even consider this place. Don’t consider using a hotel site that gets this place through its books - they’ve not checked it themselves.

I wouldn’t if I were you ...

Fraud! This hotel used my money for one month and cancelled our booking one hour before our arrival. My mother and I came to that place anyway but found absolutely nothing there! The house looked like after a storm. We waited for half an hour until we saw an odd man, who seemed to be working in that hotel. He told us that we had to find another place to stay due to repair work in this hotel. And there were no apologies for the inconvenience. We had to spend 358 instead of 138 euro for 2 nights in Verona.

Total catastrophe!!

Fortunately the accommodation is in a good location, near the city center. 
For this reason we decided to give 1 bubble rating out of 5. 
Regarding the rest there is nothing positive to say and is better not to mention the negative things: unacceptable living condition.
We suggest going somewhere else and we advice the host to start the business again!
