I have been returning to this little property for the past 12+ years. It offers very high value for money. Extremely quiet and steps away from a beautiful mountain range immediately behind. It seems to be a favorite for hikers. Overlooking the sea with fishing boats, gliding by, the cabins offer views, kitchens, and all the amenities needed for comfortable extended stays. Both private cabins and dorm rooms are available. Undoubtedly the most attractive element is the exceptional management. I have stayed here during the summer when the midnight sun reflecting off the water filled my room with blazing coppery light and it was impossible to sleep because the outside experience is simply too beautiful to miss. And I have stayed in the winter when the snow creates a magical wonderland with the Northern lights often dancing in the sky. Also in Feb and March, the fishermen hang hundreds of thousands of cods to dry...generating a pleasant, authentic aroma throughout the islands I recommend hiking the nearby picturesque Kylling Valley, and drivingthe gorgeous coastal roads to Reine, Nus Fjord, Henningsvar and Svolvaer.
