Coast Boracay 

Overall, I had a wonderful stay at coast and I’m so glad I picked this hotel to finish off my solo trip to the Philippines Location/beach The location is fantastic because it’s right on the beach and coast is one of only a number of hotels that have loungers directly on the beach. I was worried that there might not be enough but staff will literally just bring out more loungers every time someone wants to come and lie down. They are so accommodating and they will move you from sun to shade (lots of shade under the palm trees.). I would say this is one of the most appealing aspects of this hotel and not all hotels have this so it was definitely worth picking coast if you would like to have a relaxing day on the beach. The hotel is located in the heart of station two so it is a very busy area. Rooms/hotel The room was lovely, it faced inwards towards the pool (I’m not sure that any of the rooms here have views but that wasn’t an issue for me because I was booking this hotel more for the location on the beach) .The Aircon was very effective (may be a little strong at times!), very clean, great amenities were included including a coast beach bag and good bathroom amenities. Nice special touches. The free ice cream and popcorn in the afternoons was fabulous and staff would even offer to go and get one for you if you were on the beach. You could also buy drinks from the restaurant to have on the beach as well. There are two pools I didn’t use them because I tended to sit by the beach but they appeared to be loungers available if people wanted to use them. Staff The staff at this hotel were absolutely incredible, especially the staff on the beach. They were so kind and thoughtful and really made sure the guests had the best experience. All of the staff across the hotel were super friendly and made you feel like a VIP. Food I have to say this was one of the things that let the hotel down a bit. I was really looking forward to the buffet breakfast but I was actually quite disappointed. Often things were not replenished and I had to keep asking for things to be replenished and what I had was pretty bland. I ate in the restaurant one night as well and while it was a beautiful location right on the beach and they had a live singer the food again was very bland. I am not a picky eater at all so this surprised me. Transfers One of the best things about the hotel was that they included free transfers which were well organised and extremely efficient. No waiting around they had their own van and boat to transport you directly to the hotel which was a real positive. Overall, I would certainly recommend this hotel for the fabulous location on the beach and the friendly staff
