Surfside is at the southern side of White Beach. For those not familiar with Boracay this is where you can walk the beach path without constantly bumping into fellow travellers. You can sit in the white Boracay sand listening to the gentle suseration of the waves lapping at your toes all by yourself. Way different to further up the beach in Station 2. The hotel is equally refreshing and pleasant. A Japanese flavour and management always gives a guarantee of quality. The restaurant that is quite competitive to further up the beach and the quality shines through here too. Great meals and excellent value. Right on the white sand beach path that runs the length of the tourist area the breakfast area looks onto the water 30 metres away. Mesmeric. Still only a short walk up Angol Rd to the Main road that runs through the centre of the island from the jetty. This place is a real treasure.
