What a wonderful experience in the wilds of the Danube Delta. 20 or so hides for particular species seats in them are comfortable two even have a toilet. Most fitted with one way glass essential so the birds do not detect the watchers. Rooms large and comfortable with excellent showers and plenty of hot water. The reception area has large comfortable chairs and sofa ideal to share a free glass of wine or beer. Food was excellent mostly local dishes, considering this hotel is in the middle of nowhere, no supermarkets, no home delivery service the variety of meals was remarkable. Breakfast was continental but a choice of boiled eggs or omelettes also available. The number of people that return speaks volumes. Guides personable, knowledgeable and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The use of electric buggies offers some independence. If you enjoy a taste of remote areas with good food and comfortable accommodation this is the place for you.
