Since October 2017, all owners of quadrocopters and other unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) are required to register their devices with the National Television and Radio Commission of Thailand (NBTC). In case of violation of the order, Thai law provides for a penalty of up to five years in prison and / or a fine of up to 100 thousand baht (about 3 thousand US dollars).

Mandatory gala dinner fees may apply at Thailand hotels. Guests should contact the hotel directly for more information.

Under the new immigration procedures, effective May 1, 2025, all foreign nationals entering Thailand by air, land or sea must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online form on the official website of the Bureau of Immigration of Thailand three days prior to arrival.

A local tax may be charged per room per night between May 11, 2017 and Dec 31, 2022, please check with the hotel reception. If the charge is required, please pay at the hotel reception. From Dec 31 to Jan 1, a mandatory New Year's dinner fee may apply (please check with the hotel to see if this is being enforced). Please note that the resort fee, the mandatory New Year's dinner fee, and any other local tax fees are not included in the room rate. The room rate will not be refunded if you check out early. Please arrive at the hotel before 16:00 (local time). Please contact the hotel in advance if you cannot arrive on the check-in day, otherwise you will be regarded as a no-show and your room will not be kept. A penalty fee will also be charged.
