We spent a really comfortable two nights at the Nanda Heritage Hotel. The room was extremely comfortable and spacious, the bathroom clean and well provisioned. The breakfast was really good with fresh fruits, egg fried rice and the rare treat of coconut ice-cream to finish it off. The hotel is well positioned for exploring the historic centre of Bangkok, and slightly less hectic than the nearby Khao San Road area of the city. The pool was perfect for cooling off after a hot and humid day investigating Bangkok. The only slight negative is the distance from any Metro or BTS stations which make you reliant on taxis or face a longish walk to Sam Yot - a small price to pay for what was a really good stay.
