My sixth visit was just completed, and like the first five, I had an OUTSTANDING time!! The Conrad Bangkok continues to shine with their superior hospitality, professional employees, and an overall great experience! This trip report will be different from my first five (and thank you Conrad Bangkok for making my 5th entry your “Hotel favorite”!!) This time I will highlight three examples of OUTSTANDING customer service and hospitality. 1. I arrived in room 2624 on 23 April. By 26 April, I noticed the room never really cooling off like the rooms had in the past. I texted the customer service on WhatsApp, and I got an immediate response with the promise that someone would come by and check the air conditioning. Lo and behold, Maintenance came by and fixed the AC, and my room was comfortably cool again. The next evening, I received a dish of chocolate delivered to my room from Hospitality along with a note apologizing for the inconvenience. 2. I filled out the laundry sheet, placed the bag and paper outside my door, headed to the Executive Lounge for breakfast and when I came back, I noticed a note on my desk indicating a discrepancy on the sheet. I had marked hankerchief (I thoroughly enjoy how my hankies are washed, ironed, folded and then put in a plastic covering!!). Although entirely my fault, I forgot to put the hanky in the laundry bag. Kudo’s to their honesty for identifying the problem, letting me know about the problem, and not charging me for cleaning the missing hanky!! 3. On 1 May (a holiday), I had an issue in my bathroom. I contacted the customer service on WhatsApp again, got an immediate reply and in about 10 minutes, three gentlemen appeared in my room to fix the problem in my bathroom!! But, it didn’t end there. About an hour after the maintenance gentlemen left, I got a phone call from the night manager apologizing for the incident in my bathroom and she wanted to make sure the problem was corrected (it was), and if there was anything else she could do. That was pleasant and greatly appreciated. AND, I got a phone call the next evening from Prikwan at the Front Desk. She had noticed I had an issue in my room the previous evening, and she called to make sure everything was ok! You truly can’t put a price on customer service and the Conrad Bangkok delivers, each and every time, on OUTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Being that this was my sixth trip to the Conrad Bangkok since November 2023, I’m afforded the opportunity to see many familiar faces on my visits. It’s always refreshing when an employee recognizes me from previous visits. The Conrad Bangkok is extremely busy, with many customers coming and going every day, yet many of the employees still remember my smiling face. Sadly, there is also turnover at the Conrad Bangkok and this time, I was fortunate to check in on Yok’s last day. Of course she recognized me, greeted me warmly, and then had Dream escort me to the Executive Lounge to check-in. 23 April was an extremely busy day, and instead of having me wait, they took me to the Executive Lounge to check-in (an advantage of being a Diamond member). My favorite housekeeper, Ying, wasn’t working my floor, but she did stop by the 26th floor to say hello. I had mentioned Ying to Pranee (Nii), and lo and behold, Ying showed up to say hello. As with the first person I saw on this trip, the last person I saw, Film at the Front Desk, was kind, personable and very friendly and professional!! Thank you to my two favorite people in the Executive Lounge…Gift and PJ. Always a pleasure to see the both of them (as well as everyone working in the Executive Lounge. Thank you to Golf, Art, Nong, and Jay at the pool…again, always a pleasure to see them!! Unfortunately I will only be making one trip in 2026 to the Conrad Bangkok (moving in September from Chicago to Phoenix), but 2027 is not that far away!!! THANK YOU CONRAD BANGKOK!!!!!!
