The location of this place is strategic as it is far enough to be in a quieter area (please keep in mind you are in Bangkok and streets are busy all the time) and yet close enough to walk to Khaosan and dive into the big party. Tara Place is a serious hotel with butler and receptionist around the clock available to help with all kind of questions you might have. They can store your luggage in a cool and clean place. They have a tuktuk shuttle scheduled to visit some places of interest nearby. An elevator makes life with big luggage easy and two outdoor areas to hang out a little, on the ground floor and on the fourth floor give you the chance to smoke as the hotel is no smoking. Rooms are a good size for this area, windows can be opened and natural light is good! The room has a cupboard, a desk, a fridge and a sofa by the window. Keep in mind that hot water is available at the reception area 24/7, tea or coffee and some snacks. There is a safety box in the room to store your valuables. Visitors have to leave a document at the reception. Water is limited to one bottle a day. Towels are changed daily. Shower is of good size with glass door and handle to hang towel. Shower head is of the small type, water pressure is good! Soap, shower gel and shampoo are provided and of course toilet paper as well. The hotel has also a taxi in standby and offers pick up and go to airport.
