We stayed at the four star SC Park in the Wangthonglang area of Bankok, a £4 taxi ride from the main attractions on the river. Our room cost £229 for 4 nights over the New Year, including breakfast, booked via Booking.com ( see pictures). The restaurant was excellent, a huge choice of food at very reasonable prices, our New Years Eve dinner for 6 came to £75 and was delicious.
