Centana Apartment

We stayed here for a single night but wished we'd stayed longer. The apartment is located in a relatively quiet area close to the University. As such there is a much more relaxed feel during the day compared to other parts of Bangkok. It is a bit of a trip to the nearest public transport but you can view this as a good thing, it means its a much more authentic Bangkok than the usual tourist traps. During the evening the whole area comes alive with students and very cheap food/drink. The girl who showed us the apartment was very friendly, and spoke perfect English. The apartment building is very secure, and also comes with laundry facilities. Rooms are large and spacious, nicely decorated and furnished. They are clean and come with a large flat screen tv with a number of English and Thai cable channels. The bathroom is probably the nicest we used in Bangkok, nicely finished and clean. There is also a small balcony with some furniture if you want to sit outside in the evening. We had a great nights sleep, with the aircon working well. Overall this was probably the best place we stayed in Bangkok due to the room and whole area surrounding it.
