I was able to sleep soundly away from the noise of the city when we stayed at Home Base Hostel (Budget Double Room) on the topmost floor. We badly needed rest so we were happy we made the right choice in booking Home Base Hostel. Tucked in a quiet soi in Silom, Home Base Hostel is a short 20 minutes walk to the famous sois of Silom. Also nearby are Wat Phra Si Maha Utama Devi, the Embassy of Myanmar, and BTS Chong Nonsi. Home Base Hostel offers strong wifi connection (free of charge). Guests can do laundry using paid washing machines then hang their clothes on the rooftop for free. What stands out for me is the excellent customer service provided by their staff. They helped us out with practically everything from taking care of our booking, operating the washing machine, weighing our luggage, requesting for a Grab taxi. I give 5 stars for the helpful staff.
