Felt welcome from check in to check out. Staff can't do enough to help even if there English is not great (it is in Thailand afterall) but, they make up for that with quiet confidence and efficiency. Clean and well maintained spacious rooms with incredibly comfortable beds. Breakfast is more than adequate with a mix of Thai and Western choices. Dining room staff are pleasant and efficient (especially Mr Aung Aung). The breakfast dining area on level two is spotless. A tuk tuk is available to get you down to the main road and there's a 7/11 about 200 metres away which is really handy. The cafe in the lobby serves a fairly good variety of hot or iced coffee/tea along with smoothies and fruit juices (all served with a smile). Not a lot of Western guests and they're missing out by not giving this hotel a try. Great rates and nice atmosphere. It's not 100% wheelchair accessible but, if you have restricted mobility as I do, you'll be pleasantly surprised to find how easy this place is to get around (especially given the positive, helpful and inclusive attitude of all the staff). Additionally, they'll arrange for reasonably priced and tasty meals to be delivered promptly (to your room if required). I had no complaints with the service, food or cleanliness during my four night stay at Maverick Ratchada Hotel and in fact thoroughly enjoyed it. Very, very likely to stay here again for a few nights next year. It's quite easy to find using google maps. Overall, I was very impressed.
