Hug Glur House & Hostel - Adults Only 

I only write reviews if I find it outstandingly good or bad This hostel is so lovely. We were a bit apprehensively first at the beds looked so close in the picture but we ended up in the beds close to each other but it’s actually fine as we are two friends. It’s so clean everyday I’m pretty sure twice a day the rooms are swept even under all the beds, the bathroom is always spotless, the bins are always emptied Breakfast is toast jam, marmalade, butter and a choice of Thai food which changes day to day couple be rice or noodles or anything and hot drinks and water Oil is the owner and is very professional and sets rules makes them clear and all are totally appropriate. She speaks really good English which is so great makes everything easier. We didn’t book any tours or anything through the hostel because we didn’t have the money too but pretty much everyone else did and seemed to have no problems she’s got loads of brochures and info. The beds are clean and comfy for hostel beds the mattress I found pretty comfy. The aircon is on 5pm-12pm so it’s only off 5 hours a day when everyone’s out exploring anyway The main area of the city is 15 minute walk but there are lots of local places around The hostel is on every map and everything so though it’s just off a main road if you read the map correctly you’ll find it no problem and there’s signs sticking out that you’ll see The hostel is so organised and all security is great you get a set of many keys to get into the gates past 8pm and you get a locker I didn’t even use it though because I didn’t feel the need but everything is so safe. You can tell they work hard and it’s been really thought out as they seem to have thought of everything and there is a good vibe and all the staff are nice too
