While it is undeniable The Pacific Cool Chic has seen better days, the general comfort of the hotel is fine. Yes it could do with a little makeover to compete in the social media level of desirability, however we stayed during Yee Ping/ Loi Krathong & found the location to be great, just outside of the old city but perfectly walkable with many amenities close to the hotel too. What makes this place great is the staff, so welcoming, friendly & nothing too big to ask for. We asked for extra pillows and had then within minutes and they let us store our bags in the staff area after we checked out. Our room was refreshed every day without us having to ask and there was water/ shampoo/ soap etc replenished even if we hadn’t used the last set.
