Cham Cha Hostel

I stayed here for a whole week here and loved it! Our room mates booked 2 nights and they loved it so much they ended up staying for the whole week too! The beds are super clean always with fresh linen. Air con was modern and very good on those hotter than hot days! The hostel was very well decorated, smart and funky style and had a chilled vibe. It is also very local for everything being situated on the edge of the central square. The place was cleaned daily and well maintained. Hot showers (although no towels at the moment as previous backpackers sadly stole them). The hostel is also a tourist info centre which was very convienent for booking trips and one thing i loved was that they promote ethical animal related excursions. The best thing about the hostel for me was the owner Tue and her husband. They are the LOVELIEST couple and so kind, caring, helpful and always happy and smiling. Tue provides a laundry service at a small cost and our clothes were always super clean and smelling fresh when they came out. Tue really made our stay here. It was really like a home from home. Anytime we walked passed she was always offering us fruit and all sorts of thai cuisine that she happened to be cooking for herself. We became quite friendly with her and she was always such a pleasure to be around. Such a happy and friendly person. She works unbelievably hard maintaining the hostel and she is always busy but will always drop everything to help you if she could. She was previously a nurse and so helped my friend when she got a infected wound injury on her foot. She would also tell educate us about thai traditions and cultures and we learned alot from her. She was just the BEST! Highly reccomend staying here! Loved it! (Unfortunatly i forgot to take pics but you will see for yourself how cool the place is)
