Stayed here for about 3 weeks in April 2013 - The rooms (we had one suite and one medium room) were very clean! The showers have a separator wall from the toilet (which is not the most common thing in Thailand even in costly guesthouses) which was nice, too. The cleaning service is very good, new towels everyday, new sheets and pillows, and they actually organize your things on the tables and desks. By the way, they do have a lot of table space in each room. If you get a suite, there is a couch and an entry area, which was kind of fancy for us, haha. Both rooms we had actually had the same accommodations (same size bathroom, big fridge, microwaves, table, desk, tv, etc). Not much outside noise to interrupt our sleep, either, which was a big plus. The two women we see at the front desk the most are VERY friendly and helpful. Also the security gentlemen typically in the parking area are friendly as well. All in all, this was a nice stay. We have a motorbike so it is hard to say how far away of a walk it would be to or from anywhere, but it is not impossibly far from something like 7-11 or Tops Market. A walk to a restaurant inside Old City may be a bit long during hot season, but otherwise I don't think it would be too bad (get a motor bike anyway if you can! So much to see in just a 5-10 minute ride in Chiang Mai!). If we come back to CM and need a place to stay we will definitely look into Puri Piman first!
