We stayed overnight here in a triple room. Our bus was due to arrive at 1am and we informed the hotel of this. However, it only got in after 3am so imagine our surprise when we roll up to SS Hotel at 3.45am and the owner has waited up for us! The lady in charge of this hotel is one of the nicest and most genuine and helpful hoteliers I have met in a variety of different hotels in Thailand. The room itself had comfortable beds for three and a good fan as well as a ventilation fan above the door which also allowed in fresh air and kept the room cool. All you can ask for at such a cheap price. The bathrooms were located nearby and there was a low ratio of guests per bathroom per floor! I'd recommend this place highly if you're on a budget.
