Stayed here for a month. It's descent an not bad money if your staying for a while. It's good for the money and you don't have to sign any long contracts 30 days is ok. I'm not sure how helpful they are with tourist info but just go across the street jump on the back of a song kao and pay 20 baht to get to the old city it's like 10 mins away. Hardly a problem, very easy and convenient.
