We met the tourist information office at Chiang Mai station after getting off the over night train from Bangkok. We were offered a free taxi to the this hotel, to with the view of seeing if we liked it and wanted to stay. If not then we do not need to check in or pay for the taxi. We arrived, viewed the room, the agreed to stay. The rooms were basic, but light airy and clean. We particularly enjoyed the swimming pool which was a welcome treat after a hot and sweaty day in Chiang mai. We liked the balconies which had large easy chars and tables to sit and chill, read or chat. We round the staff friendly and accommodating. We plan to return to Thailand, and if so would definitely return to this hotel.
