Stay 5 nights in lanna guesthouse. Comfortable bed, Aircon is cold enough( room 211). As for shower, u will need few mins for the hot water to come. 3 mins walk to night bazaar, many restaurants n cheap foods nearby. 15 mins walk to famous warorot market whereby u can buy all local products n fresh fruits/flowers. Hotel staffs r friendly n helpful. Got a taxi transfer from hotel to airport for just 200bht. Will definitely be staying here again when I come Chiang Mai again on February ( cooler weather).
