We are Canadians from Winnipeg and stayed here in Thailand in November 2018 - had an absolutely wonderful stay. First and foremost, the front desk lady named Ana helped us plan our 3 day stay in the city. She was knowledgeable and trustworthy and gave us great advise on where to go and what to see. She was also the bartender some nights and we had so much fun relaxing in the lobby while she made us drinks! She is amazing. The rooms were very clean, we had a nice view of the surrounding area from our balcony and window. There is a temple right across the street and we could hear the monks humming - it was such a comforting sound. Just about a 10 minute walk and you can be over in the night bazaar shopping and getting great food! We would recommend staying here to any travelers. It is safe, friendly and overall a great experience.

LOVED OUR STAY - Ana was so helpful!!!

We stayed here three nights and were pleasantly surprised by the standard of the hotel for the price. 

The room was clean, The bed was comfy, and complimentary waters were given every day, and there was a cleaning service as well. 

The location was ideal for us, very close to the temples and city center walls. 

There were a few minuses though. 
1. There is no elevator so you have to carry your suitcases up two or three flights of stairs if you have a higher room

2. There is no bathroom door, it’s a sliding partition like in changing rooms. There is. I shower door either so you flood the bathroom.  

3. The room itself and it’s safe is very small. We had to pick or suitcases after each use. 

All in all however I would recommend because it’s super cheap and has great location. 

Nice surprise 

I had rented a condo down the soi from here and when I had to move I figured why not check it out. I was pleasantly surprise on how helpful they were and the cleanliness. For me it is the perfect location. Good value, decent internet, it was not working most of the time I was there and they went out of they way to try to have me connect to another floor. If the room had a microwave I would give it 5 starts. It does have a fridge, water and TP given daily.

A Plesant Surprise

This was my first time to stay in this hotel. I stayed there for 3 nights. I booked it urgently because the old hotel that I booked 2 months ago denied that they didn't receive confirmation from hotels.com (Don't stay that hotel "The Scale House Chiangmai" ---it is hell!!!).
My stay in 202 House was nice. They have nice room, big and comfy bed, free toiletries and water.
There are some things that I don't like to stay there again because they don't have elevator and my room was at the 4th floor. Secondly, they didn't change the bedsheet from the last guests. I saw pubic hair and dusts but I didn't complain to them. On the second day, they still didn't change the beddings, they only arrange it.

Good

The two girls at the reception weren't much helpful at all. We booked the bus tickets to Pai from them at 10:30am for the next day. They confirmed and asked is to pay, which was 200bath/pax/one trip and we did. However, when we were about to depart the next morning, they told us they'd changed our schedule to 12:30pm without our telling us. Could've left us a note in front of our room door! They couldn't speak English well so Google Translate took us 30mins to communicate. Then, they agreed to change the time for us, but we had to get to the station by ourselves (without pick-up service included in the 200bath) and what's worse, we needed to change the tickets at the station. Well, how helpful! We wanted to speak to the manager but they refused. After an hour, they decided to give our money back and shrug off all the responsibility! Also, we waited one more hour to get them contacted the agency so that we could return the bike we'd rented. 
I highly recommend not using service from the front desk here unless you have all the confirmation with the lady in charged at night, cause she seemed to handle things well. 

Unhelpful staff

Very small rooms, but clean and central. Super price-performance. Especially the staff is very helpful and friendly. The hostel also offers the following services to each other:

For the price we pay, we can't order more air conditioning, wifi, good location, they organized the excursion to Chiang Rai and always approached us with hospitality.

Good quality/price ratio

The room is nice, the bed is comfortable, everything is very clean, what I don't like is that all the rooms have a glass window that overlooks the hallway, so if you don't cover the glass well you don't have privacy and the bathroom doesn't have a door only a shower curtain that according to the pongs closes the shower or the bathroom.
