This was a great ‘Air BnB’ style place.  The rooms were a decent size with air conditioning, fridge, bottled water and a kettle. The bathroom was on the balcony and it was great to get a sink to wash alfresco (the toilet and shower room had a door!) Toiletries were provided along with free WiFi. The staff were more than helpful, allowing us to check in early and also carrying a bags up to the room.

A bargain!!

Well placed to explore the beautiful city of Chiang Mai. Having a fridge and a kettle was very useful as well. Perfectly good room which covered everything we needed for a good price. Not luxury but no issues at all.

Good room in an amazing city.

We arrived later in the day (5pm) from Vietnam & staff had to stay back to let us in, as the place is not staffed?? Easy enough, room appeared clean.
Within 30 minutes of checking in & testing out the bed (was very hard) my back become itchy. Thought nothing more of it.  Next day I wake up to find i am covered from head to toe, literally head to toe in raised red welts/bites/hives. A quick trip to the pharmacy led me to a long visit to the hospital to be informed I have been bitten by dust mites/bed bugs & have a serious allergic reaction. As it was late at night so we unfortunately had to stay another night only to find my bites/hives have doubled! 

We had to check out, i could not stay a minute longer! thankfully we were refunded the money we had paid for the 5 nights in advance but in all honestly i was annoyed we had to pay anything at all. I essentially paid 1000 baht to stay somewhere that completely ruined my visit to Chiang Mai, gave me an expensive visit to the hospital, a serious rash & was then given attitude by staff when I advised them of the dr advice of dust/bed mites. (Apparently i brought the dust mites myself?!? Righto!)

Word of warning, the walls are paper thin so you will hear EVERYTHING!! The rooms look like you are in a jail cell, bathroom is not attached to room & is out on balcony & it’s not a hotel despite charging like one, you are staying in a locals apartment block.. 

150% DO NOT RECOMMEND! 

Had to check out..

I stayed for 2 nights and it was fun. The reception is just in front which is also within the compound. Room was all-White very neat-looking, but there's no en-suite bathroom (you'll have to go outside the small balcony and there's a separate room for it). Convenience store is a few meters away from the place. there are motorcycle rental shops within a distance. Many old Buddhist temples can be reached by walk. Quiet place and cold AC! wi-fi signal is reliable too. they don't serve breakfast so you have to buy it yourself or eat outside. they have a water kettle and bottled water.

nice location and very clean!

Firstly I don't understand how people are complaining about this place. we have been travelling for 8 weeks now and this is one of the best hostel apartments we've had (and we're not easily pleased). 

Yes everything is white and it's basic but its modern and is so convenient with a hanging rail, fridge, cubby holes by the bed, mirror and stool, table and floor cushions, hooks for your towels and lots of power outlets. Not to mention everything sparkling clean. 
Free water in the fridge and umbrellas hanging outside if you need them. Good location in the square, walking distant from everything.

The only thing that could be seen as a negative for me is that the office closes so there isn't always someone there BUT Amy's contact number is in the room and she lives close by so not a big problem.

I wish I'd taken photos to show but the photos on booking.com are completely accurate. You will not be disappointed.

Perfect stay!

The place is near the main Wat Phra Singh so has excellent location. Clean and tidy with water in the fridge. Bathroom accessed from a balcony. Building is not quiet but maybe that's because our room was the first one on the street side. If you don't mind a bit spartan conditions, it can still be alright.
