Hotel Status

Although a 20min walk from the center, this hotel is quite comfortable, clean and pleasant, thanks to a strict no smoking policy! Staff is available 24/7 to help out, breakfast is pretty good and lots of parking out front.

I arrived in the city at the bus station and had difficulty finding a taxi who knew where it was despite being near a major hospital. My room is next to that of previous reviewer room three and its quiet. There is a very good restaurant turn left 5 minutes walk the factory, ok the music may not be to everyone's taste but outside it was OK and great freshly cooked fusion cuisine but no local beer. Large room, no smoke smell freshly furnished and decorated with everything you need at twenty pounds sterling a night. I'd give it five stars if reception helped a little bit more, you have to earn her respect to get a little smile! Great value and there is taxi rank to left four minutes and seven trolleys routes outside the door you are not cut of as implied in some reviews.

Better than i had expected

big rooms nice staff

After the rather sporting drive along the main street of Vinnitsa I arrived without too much drama.  I walked into the lobby and was met by the receptionist.  I politely inquired in my limited Russian if she understood English.  I was surprised by the rather obvious eye-roll in answer to my question.  Nevertheless, after a long day's drive I checked in.  The hotel is pleasant, there is no restaurant service in the evening and no real restaurants close by.  The room is pleasant, even rather elegant but the traffic noise is overpowering (room 4).  I am considering checking out and finding another hotel.  I would not recommend this hotel.  The wifi is spotty, unsecured and mostly absent.

Memorable

It’s boutique hotel – only 14 rooms, no elevator and it’s too long way to the last floor with suit cases. 

Big and new rooms, clean, free WiFi, mini-bar, new furniture. 

Breakfast is not included in price, but you can order it. 

Location is not great – you need  taxy to go to Vinnitsa fountain and city center. Lucky taxy is not expensive here.
There is a hotel parking in front of hotel which is convenient.

If you pay by card they add 5% to price.

Nothing wrong with the hotel but I didn’t feel comfortable there.

Everage hotel located too far away from city center

My husband was here on business for 2 nights, and I came along.  This is not a central location.  It is a 30-40 minute walk to the center.  We had room 1 on the 1st floor.  It is a roomy corner room with two windows, a nice sized bathroom with bathtub, couch, air conditioning, and WiFi.  The room was acceptable and clean.  The room does not have a desk so to use the computer or do any work you must use the coffee table which is not too comfortable for your back. There are screens on the one window that opens, but because the room is on a main traffic street, it is quieter to use the air conditioning.  There is no elevator.  The hotel staff does not speak any English, and even with my husband's Ukrainian co-worker did not seem very helpful.  The staff did not offer to call a taxi when asked about taxi service.  The staff did not have maps for the area, and when asked for a map, simply pulled out the phone book and turned to the map page.  So the biggest con for me was the unhelpful reception staff.  Breakfast must be ordered the night before and is extra.  In fact, if you want milk/cream with your coffee, it will cost you 1hrv extra per little plastic cup of cream--not a lot of money, but it just leaves the guest without any desire to return to this hotel again.

Not Memorable, not friendly

Good average hotel. Clean and nice, has all basic things. Satisfactory service, variety of breakfast options. Rooms are nice. No balconies, so some rooms smell cigarettes. Location is not very nice. I would say, the price is too high for this set of pros and cons.
