This hotel is located about 10 minutes from the city centre of Pärnu, after the bridge, so quite well situated for carless travelers like us. The hotel's décor is sober. A well-equipped common kitchen allows you to eat or coffee. The sauna was under repair when we passed. The sound and light insulation was not optimal, allowing daylight and the noise of cars from the nearby street to pass through. Nothing very negative to report. A suitable hotel for a reasonable price

Clean and well placed

The hotel is not exactly in the center of Parnu, but it is in a good position, just beyond the bridge. In front of the guesthouse there is also a comfortable Rimi, where you can buy water and food, if necessary. The operators are very available, the rooms are clean and nice, clean towels are also provided and in the room there is a comfortable refrigerator. There is also a kitchen where you can cook and equipped with the necessary strait for a tea or coffee.

Good location

We stayed at Aare Hostel for two nights. The hostel itself was clean, staff helpful, and the room OK. Though only burning hot water was coming from the bathroom tab. Fortunately the shower water temperature was OK. There was no hand towels in bathroom, which was a little inconvenient. Hostel has a big kitchen with everything we needed. It also  has a really nice sauna and a small swimming pool (rent 21e), which we managed to get with a really short notice! Free parking at the back of the hostel was a plus. Hostel is located about 10 minutes walk from the Pärnu center, "other side of the bridge". We felt that the hostel area was quite restless. Over all an OK hostel.

OK hostel

Aare's rooms are very modest, no decorations or paintings or anything like that, but if you are just looking for a clean, cheap (65 euros, july) place to stay in Pärnu, this is a good choice. The beds were fine, fridge was very cold and the shower worked well. It's only a 10 minute walk from the centre of the town. They charged 5 euros for parking next to the building (there was a sign in the room saying parking in the street is free -don't know what's the difference between these two). The walls are very thin in the building, so you can hear everything from the hallway and neighbouring rooms.
