I actually intended to stay in the NH Kleinmachnow which is close to my office but got my booking wrong and only found out as I arrived at Tegal.

Rooms are nice here, great service and the breakfast is hearty and included. NH hotels in my experience are great value, clean, modern and comfortable.

Booked the NH in Potsdam by mistake. Not dissapointed.

The apartment was exactly the same as the one for the photos, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped. It is located on a street very close to the square, but at the same time quite away from the hustle and bustle. The only thing you can hear is the train if you have the venatanas open (this was not a problem because we were traveling in November).

Very highly recommended.

Not what we expected, a spacious apartment but in a somewhat gloomy place. Noise of a train passing, near a noisy fair of attractions, entrance by a dark alley with bad smells. Apartment with broken ascender, they charge you 50€ for receiving you without any sense. It definitely doesn't deserve the price it pays. No return.

 Deception

Excellent, frequent contact with the owners via email and then phone. It was great to have the opportunity to leave our car and luggage in the secure parking area early in the morning, which gave us then the opportunity to start our sightseeing in Berlin until our room was ready. On check in, transport and tourist sites were pointed out, which was very helpful. On departure one of the owners came to see us off, which was a lovely touch. The apartment is in a central location which was close to all types of public transport (train, S and U Bahn and bus) on several lines. The Alexa Shopping Complex with shops, a supermarket and food court was a five minute walk away. Several tourist sites were only a ten minute walk away. We all liked the very comfortable beds with flat screen TV's in both bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, a good sized bathroom and free wifi. The downside was that the apartment was very noisy when the windows/doors were open due to the braking of the trains as the lines were only 100 meters away. The rug in the lounge room, the lounge suites and dining room chairs were very stained and dirty and need to be replaced. We did not expect this standard in this price range

Not what we expected...

We were guests at the Voltaire Apartments in July 2014. Highlighting are the very comfortable beds and the very friendly care provided by the host. Also, the kitchen is well equipped and the apartment was clean and orderly when it was taken over. Something disturbed us the rest of the furniture as well as the maintenance of the apartment. On the floor there were very clear signs of use, it also looked little old and well maintained. Tables chairs and the two sofas were partially stained and of cheap quality - quite unlike the beds. The plants on the balcony were completely rotten, but not replaced. In the bathroom there were enough defective railings as well as a watchful hold. A holiday accommodation is likely to be removed quickly and not kept in a quiet location, although the nearby shopping area is not very quiet, and the nearby shopping area is not very convenient, and the location of the Alexa-Center is not very convenient, because of the lack of a convenient location.

Light and shadow

We have spent a week in one of the Voltaire Apartments and it was really good. Location is just excellent right in the centre of Berlin. The flat is really well equipped with all modern facilities and comfortable and large beds. Decoration is also very nice and last but not least the landlady is very friendly and ready to help!
I definitely recommend this address!

An excellent Address in Berlin!

The apartment is very pleasant, the beds are great and it has everything you need.It is very close to the supermarket, metro station and museum area.The staff is punctual and very correct.Good choice to visit Berlin.

Large apartment very well located.

This is a very nice, spacious apartment well located near Alexanderplatz.  The apartment is very comfortable, and Ms. Clavin made some great restaurant recommendations.  She was even kind enough to make us some reservations.

Great location, helpful owner

Great location, across the road from Alexa shopping. Train station very close by - very central and great location. Well equipped kitchen, great beds, extremely well furnished and very clean. I highly recommend to anyone heading to Berlin.

Relatively good location in the centre. Very pleasant reception and service by Mrs Clavin. Very good beds (and pillows, which is unusual in Germany), well equipped kitchen. Extremely clean and well furnished. Parking in the garage under the building. My recommendation!
