Right next to the famous water Tvindefossen. So you can always enjoy the view and sound of the waterfall.  Like many campsites in Norway the kitchen, toilets and showers are common.  Could be very noisy sometimes do you the huge number of tourists coming to see the waterfall

We visited Flam that day and chose Tvinde camping for a night stay! We do not have prior camping experience and hence didn't expect much befre arriving at this place. But after reaching the place, we (I and my friends) just felt WOWIEEEEE! We booked cabins as we do not know how to camp. The staff there were really pleasant and we didn't have proper utensil to cook as well. Then we asked the staff and they were really helpful that they let us borrow one from them. The cabins were compact near a waterfall where we heard the sound of the water from the falls throughout and whe you look round, you will just see green mountains. What a lovely place it was!

For transportation, it would be better if you can arrange your own. though we used public transport which is not very frequent but we researched it and noted down the timings before and so it was not a hassle to use public transport when you are prepared for it. The bus stop name is 'Tvinde' (In different reviews I saw different stop name but this one is what I saw there). I read that there are some buses which will not stop there but we requested the driver to drop us there and he did.

You have common bathrooms (I think 2 or 3) separately for men and women and it is 'pay and use'. So have some NOK coins or you can exchange it at the counter. There is a souvenir shop nearby which is where you will find the staffs. Inside the cabin, we had a single induction stove for use.

Would love to stay there is future too!

I would rate this as 'good', between 'average' and 'very good' in the bubbles above. We got a chalet for a family of 4 including a senior. 

Negatives: We are not the camping sort, so were not used to crossing a parking lot with our toiletteries bag, clothes, towels and coins to use the coin-operated shared showers. The toilets are also shared, in the same building. The chalet was clean and bright, but cramped and extremely basic, with no facilities except for a fridge, a single hotplate and a tea kettle. You have to pick up kitchen supplies at the front desk, and inevitably we kept forgetting things and walking back and forth. We rented the towels and purchased disposable bed linen which came out to about a quarter of the price of the chalet. If you stay in this type of accommodation regularly, definitely bring your own things. The mattresses were comfortable, though I had trouble climbing up and down the top bunk, being middle-aged. There weren't enough hooks or shelf space, and the table is tiny. 

Positives: The best thing about this place is the stunning waterfall just behind the cottages. There was a very pleasant family vibe, with kids frolicking in the play area and people sitting on their little front porches and outside their campervans in the evening. Quiet time was respected by all. The shared facilities were spotlessly clean and well maintained. The check-in staff were friendly and responsive. There is a lovely walk up to the top of the falls that is not difficult even for older folks. And importantly, it was the cheapest accommodation we found in that area. 

We stayed here in July 2021 for two nights (group of 9 including children split into two cabins).
The location is about 5 minutes walk from the Tvinno bus stop. There is very limited bus connectivity to this place, so you need to plan your travel accordingly if you are using public transport like us.

The bathroom and toilets are outside and in common area. You need to carry 10 Krone coins to use the shower where the water will come for 4 minutes, which was sufficient for most of us. There is no charge to use the toilet if you have already paid for the cabin or camping. (They provide you a code to unlock the toilet door.)

There is a small shop which is also the reception. You can get some fast food items and something hot to drink (e.g. coffee) along with option to buy soviniers.
This is also the place where you can make the room payments (if booking via booking.com). This is also where you can ask for the free WiFi password (the signal is not good near the reception, but better at the actual cabins (speeds around 5 Mbps when it works). The mobile signal is also OK though not as strong as in big cities.

The main attraction is the private waterfall which is accessible from this property. It is possible to just climb up the stones and get very close to the waterfall.

It gets colder at night and there are some mosquitos as well though not too many for such a location.

It is also possible to pitch a tent there or bring your caravan there. Check the website for rates.

Picturesque campsite which is unfortunately inundated from early morning to late evening by Chinese tourists coming to photograph and pose by the waterfall. If you can ignore these, it is a good campsite with satisfactory facilities. Two showers in female bathroom (pay for 4 minutes of water), washing machine and tumble dryer and dishwashing facilities. 
Sound of Waterfall thankfully drowns out noise from busy road. Good base for Voss nearby with all its outdoor activities
Reception for campsite is the shop selling every imaginable Norwegian piece of tat. 

After one week up in the Norwegian mountains we needed a place to rest and take a shower before we continued our vacation. Tvinde was perfect, with a clean and safe service building. Good to use the code to enter this section. We brought with us two huskies, and get a cabin where it was easy to tie them outside. Had some problem with the internet, but get effective support from the ‘crew’. It was a lot of tourists down by the waterfall, but quiet inside the camping area.

Couldn’t appreciate the cabin much as we arrived very late (11pm) on a heavy rainy day due to lengthy wait at Bergen Airport Avis car rental and GPS only take addresses or gps coordinates in a particular manner. 

Managed to call the reception from Bergen Airport Information Centre and the gentleman gave us the cabin number and the washroom codes as well as the key location for our cabin.

We choose this location because it was very conveniently located as we needed to catch the cruise at Gudvangen the next morning at 8 am.

Very clean dishing washing/laundry room; the same for toilet and shower rooms 
Our cabin had 2 bunk beds. We did self clean the cabin before we left.

Wished we had more time to enjoy our cabin and the waterfall.

We had a short stay here on way to flam, it's superb many campers come here with their caravans it's clean and the best part is you have a waterfall in the background a small stream of water too. The bathroom shower needs 10NOK to start and it works fr 4mins a time😉 Note that.

We stayed 1 night in a cabin. There during the day loads of buses with Chinese to see the waterfall. Which is nice but not that spectaculair. The cabins are motel style, no pans or utensils. Far to expensive for what you’ll get. No great value for money. The sanitary is clean and nice.
